Disambiguation link notification for December 13[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Comparison of digital audio editors, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Making Waves. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

License tagging for File:Making Waves Wenhead icon - Obsolete.png[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Making Waves Wenhead icon - Obsolete.png. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.

To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 21:05, 19 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Freeloading[edit]

I am concerned that after submitting Draft:Making Waves (software) you have gone on working on a version in your sandbox adding a large amount of patently unencyclopedic material in a way that looks very much like using Wikipedia as a free host. I have merged it into the draft article. Please fix those ridiculous links to Wikipedia articles. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 13:49, 20 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on File:Making Waves v1 circa 1996 MWv1.png requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted images or text borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 19:44, 21 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
