A tag has been placed on Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Mig Arogan, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. September 2018[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Toddst1. I noticed that you made an edit concerning content related to a living (or recently deceased) person on Draft:Mig Arogan, but you didn't support your changes with a citation to a reliable source, so I removed it. Wikipedia has a very strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate and clear. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you! Toddst1 (talk) 21:51, 26 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Hi. I hope that you don't mind me asking, however, your editing seems to be somewhat aligned to how some of the paid editors behave. Can you tell me how you chose the resources that you are using? It is an interesting collection, and I would like to understand better your choice of reliable sources. — billinghurst sDrewth 10:33, 20 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Im not Paid to do editing[edit]

hey billinghurst , im a learner i actually am still learning how to make article and all my resources can be found by searching Success Jr on google , he is a haitian american comedian i went to one of his show thats how i heard about him , so im creating a page about him and theres more comedian i want to create page about but they seem to not have as much resources also if you can actually help me finish it that'd be nice of you feel free to do any touch or retouch on it Kayla4175 (talk) 17:15, 20 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Okay, then please look to WP:reliable sources as numbers of the sources that you are using are close to PR puff pieces and not suitable for usage. Also to look at WP:notability as though someone may be known, they may not be meeting the criteria for articles. — billinghurst sDrewth 21:43, 20 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Which one so I can look into them ? Most of them probably Haitian articles Kayla4175 (talk) 13:14, 21 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I have moved the article back to draft: namespace and ask for you to follow the processes for article drafts to have the article reviewed and for whomever reviews it to move it out of the namespace. Noting that I prefer that my communications are onwiki, rather than undertaken by email. — billinghurst sDrewth 11:02, 31 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Success Jr moved to draftspace[edit]

An article you recently created, Success Jr, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Please clarify how you became the copyright holder of this image but claim to have no connection to the subject. Praxidicae (talk) 15:50, 13 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hey Praxidicae I searched Wikimedia and noticed both subjects did not have any pictures. I then resulted to Google for the images. My apologies I did not mean to appear as the copyright holder. Would you be able to educate me further on what I can do differently to fix the Wikimedia images so it doesn’t appear that I’m the copyrighted owner? Thanks again for your patience Kayla4175 (talk) 17:44, 13 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to remove Articles for deletion notices or comments from articles and Articles for deletion pages, as you did at MiG Arogan, you may be blocked from editing. Praxidicae (talk) 16:34, 13 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

This page already went thru draft submission sr what’s the matter? Kayla4175 (talk) 16:36, 13 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

The reviewer did not do a thorough job of vetting the sources, obviously. Please do not edit further until you respond to the paid inquiry and your specific connection to the two subjects you've written about. Praxidicae (talk) 16:39, 13 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
hey Praxidicae I did actually replied to the paid inquiry question here subjects are notable figures in the Haitian community. Writing articles about them is solely to bring knowledge of individuals who are thriving and have made more than a name for themselves while they’re still alive and well. There are no specific connection between myself and these two subjects. They do not know I even exist. I do genuinely appreciate your help and guidance. Kayla4175 (talk) 17:01, 13 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Then please explain how you became the copyright holder of the two images of the subjects you wrote about. Praxidicae (talk) 17:03, 13 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on MiG Arogan requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. Your draft article, Draft:Success Jr[edit]

Hello, Kayla4175. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Success Jr".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thank you for your submission to Wikipedia! UnitedStatesian (talk) 02:26, 15 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
