Your Statements in Barbary Coast Article are Not Relevant to that Neighborhood and Its Time Period[edit]

Much of the new material that you have added in the spring of 2017 to the Barbary Coast, San Francisco article does not pertain to the small 9 block neighborhood of the Barbary Coast, but instead to San Francisco as a whole. And the time period that you refer to does not pertain to the limited time period of the Barbary Coast.

The Barbary Coast moniker for that 9 block area of Pacific Street was given in the mid 19th-Century and is rarely used as the 20th-Century progresses, and by the middle 20th-century those 9 blocks of Pacific Street are referred to as International Settlement. Many of your statements pertain to time periods beyond the existence of the Barbary Coast. The statements in the The Rise of Gay and Transgender Communities section that are not relevant to that time and neighborhood should be moved to a more relevant article, like the ones on San Francisco or LGBT community where they will have the correct focus, because they must ultimately deleted from the Barbary Coast article where they are not relevant. Please read and contribute to a discussion on this issue upon the Talk Page, Talk:Barbary Coast, San Francisco , for the Barbary Coast article.
