July 2009[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to make constructive contributions to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits did not appear to be constructive and has been automatically reverted by ClueBot. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you believe there has been a mistake and would like to report a false positive, please report it here and then remove this warning from your talk page. If your edit was not vandalism, please feel free to make your edit again after reporting it. The following is the log entry regarding this warning: User talk:Kcreeves was moved to Talk:Kcreeves user by Kcreeves (u) (t) redirecting article to non-existant page on 2009-07-15T01:37:09+00:00 . Userpage and talk page move[edit]

Don't do that; you may not move userspace into article space. Acroterion (talk) 01:47, 15 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Acknowledgement[edit]

OK, I agree with removing (moving again, not eliminating) my talk page. I will delete that soon. Edited by Kcreeves (talk) at 20:27 (8:27 PM) PDT (America/Los_Angeles, GMT -0700)

Kcreeves, you've made some good edits in the time you've been here, but a number of edits have been disruptive and you've already been warned a few times. Rather than deleting or removing anything (I'm not quite sure what you're planning) and risking further disruption, can I suggest you take some time to learn you way around and work out what's acceptable and what isn't. I've restored the welcome message I originally added and suggest you read some of the introductory guidelines to get a feel for Wikipedia and what it's all about. GDallimore (Talk) 09:30, 15 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Again[edit]

Again your user page was posted/moved to the main article space. An admin has moved it back and it has been blanked to remove personal details from that namespace. Please only edit it here. Thanks.    7   talk Δ |   01:33, 16 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did to User:7. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you.    7   talk Δ |   01:51, 20 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

August 2009[edit]

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at User talk:7, you will be blocked from editing.    7   talk Δ |   12:28, 2 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Talk:History of Apple/Comments, a page you substantially contributed to, has been nominated for deletion. Your opinions on the matter are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/Talk:History of Apple/Comments and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You are free to edit the content of Talk:History of Apple/Comments during the discussion but should not remove the miscellany for deletion template from the top of the page; such a removal will not end the deletion discussion. Thank you. Gigs (talk) 14:59, 19 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

OK[edit]

OK, I will not make another unconstructive edit to Wikipedia. Ryan Cunningham 22:55, 22 August 2009 (UTC)

Your hangon rationale[edit]

You wrote, this page defines Microsoft's HKEX symbol.

Actually, it doesn't. What it does is state that Microsoft is the originator of the very concept of an HKEX symbol. -- Blanchardb -MeMyEarsMyMouth- timed 16:07, 1 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

And even if what you say is true, this does not in any way justify a redirect from 4338 to Microsoft. Wikipedia is not the HKEX website. -- Blanchardb -MeMyEarsMyMouth- timed 16:09, 1 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion of "Jerns Funeral Chapel"[edit]

A page you created, Jerns Funeral Chapel, has been tagged for deletion, as it meets one or more of the criteria for speedy deletion; specifically, it is about a real person, group of people, band, club, company, organisation, or web content, but does not indicate why its subject is important or significant.

You are welcome to contribute content which complies with our content policies and any applicable inclusion guidelines. However, please do not simply re-create the page with the same content. You may also wish to read our introduction to editing and guide to writing your first article.

Thank you. Falcon8765 (talk) 00:24, 14 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Daylight Savings Time ends[edit]

This is just a reminder to set your clocks one hour back. Ryan Cunningham

String orchestra[edit]

I've moved the article back from the plural to the singular, in line with the articles' references and common usage. While there are, of course, more than one string instrument in an orchestra, the singular is appropriate in this case. It's always best to ask the question on the article talk page first before undertaking a bold move of this kind. Acroterion (talk) 17:53, 21 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free image File:Windows 7.0.jpg[edit]

⚠
Thanks for uploading File:Windows 7.0.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of "file" pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Category:Digital subchannels[edit]

Category:Digital subchannels, which you created, has been nominated for deletion. Your input would be welcome in the discussion at Wikipedia:Categories_for_discussion/Log/2009_December_23#Category:Digital_subchannels. --BrownHairedGirl (talk) • (contribs) 19:30, 23 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on KING 5 News Up Front requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about about a person, organization (band, club, company, etc.) or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Hi Kcreeves. I noticed you created an RfA page some time ago. I was wondering as to what the status of that RfA might be. Please let me know if you still intend to run for adminship with that RfA; otherwise, I'll go ahead and delete it for you in about a week or so from today. Regards, FASTILY (TALK) 22:03, 10 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Get Up, Get Up, Get Up requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a musical recording which does not indicate why its subject is important or significant, and where the artist's article has never existed, has been deleted or is eligible for deletion itself. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for music.

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of A Boy's Best Friend is His Mother, and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://www.pdmusic.org/1800s/83abbfihm.txt. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details. (If you own the copyright to the previously published content and wish to donate it, see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for the procedure.)

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. The article Broadway (Bellingham, WA) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Street gives no evidence of notability; Wikipedia is not a map.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. かんぱい!
