License tagging for Image:Ruben1.png[edit]
Thanks for uploading Image:Ruben1.png. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

Kirkyan[edit]

Encyclopedic[edit]
Encyclopedic? "broad in scope or content"? huh?
Or does Haworth intend to mean that the origination source of an idea must be... proper. No poets scratching thoughts on prison walls; poetry is only important if it's published. No art outside of the Salon; only the elite get to decide what is and is not Art. No equations on a napkin or sitting under apple trees; theories come only from the research lab and institutions of higher learning. - Yes I agree with all the above tests. And other Wikipedians are even more deletionist than me: see my comment in this debate and the riposte to it. Apparently the rules include "not even things which people can see with their own eyes".

What matters is whether a community (and not necessarily the Wikipedia community) begins to work with and write about a concept, and move it into wider significance and usage. That hasn't happened 'yet' with "kirkyan". Csven -- reckon there may be a place for it in some sort of Design or A.R. Wikia page? I dunno. - Ronz, there is now a second source for the alleged blocking / locking of doors and accosting of women at event[1]. Second source report begins about halfway down the page, though it is asserted that the manhandling of the attendee happened during another speaker's (Wilcock's) segment. - Hi Kdevans! Thanks for taking a quick interest in my students' article. I thought you should know that there is a process they have to go through in the creation of this article (which is why its on a subpage off my user page). They should be at a stage where they have a list of facts/short sentences from their sources, roughly organized into sections... working towards grouping them within the sections into what will be paragraphs. Then we will work on sentences (spelling grammar etc) and then putting in the citations in the correct form. Its the same process I use when I do my articles. I asked them to contact Wikipedians to have more eyes on their work, trying to get people who know their topics better than I do. The finished product is supposed to be between 400 and 500 words.Thelmadatter (talk) 15:24, 24 March 2017 (UTC)

Hello Kdevans -- Thanks for contributing this article. From a Google Scholar search, I believe the subject is notable as an academic and author, and so I've marked it as patrolled. However the article needs to do more to make the notability obvious.
