Thanks for the award[edit]

Hi, thank you for the Exceptional Newcomer Award. I usually make small edits to fix grammar and wikify dates. I gotta go to bed.

Why do you keep deleting my links[edit]

This is my website so I own the rights to the information. So I will post more stuff if you want me to. I addsd some text and the sites I'm reffering have tons of relevant content

Your golfing in Cancun edit is a copywrite violation from the website you reference [1], see the ALL RIGHTS RESERVED at the bottom of the page. Commercial content and links are not permissible for those sorts of reasons. Teke 05:43, 21 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The Iraq War Was Wrong Blog -- No Afd2 Template?[edit]

You never did Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/The Iraq War Was Wrong Blog. And since that's the gist of the deletion, it's not something I can do for you, really. — WCityMike (T | C)  ⇓ plz reply HERE  (why?) ⇓  02:54, 6 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

It has been moved to the right place now. --Ezeu 02:58, 6 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

209.221.67.5[edit]

209.221.67.5 has been vandalizing the Brian Mulroney article once again, and should be blocked. SFrank85 18:35, 8 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

IP was reported to AIV and was blocked for the tenth time. Teke

Thank you[edit]

Yes please, that would be amazing. I'll take a look at the source so I know for future reference.

Thanks so much, Vaniac 03:32, 9 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Re: Benjamin Harrison[edit]

There are a lot of good images from the Library of Congress, which is where I get many of my pics from. Check it out if you want. --tomf688 (talk - email) 14:55, 9 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Different prob[edit]

I'm sorry for the confusion but there are two covers. The one in there now is the remastered cover and the cover I want in there is Image:Thismightstingcover. Sorry again. --WillMak050389 04:23, 14 June 2006 (UTC)

Thanks for working with it, I'm not too great at computers and what makes them tick, but this is the first problem I've had with the images. thanks again for the help. --WillMak050389 04:39, 14 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you, I will keep that in mind next time. --WillMak050389 04:43, 14 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the heads up[edit]

You are completely revealing who you are on your userpage, which is of course your right. Just out of concern I'd like to mention that this has grown to be one of the most popular english language websites, and you never know what may happen with your personal information. Unless licensed, you are basically releasing yourself to public domain. A heads-up, you never know what can happen on the web. Teke 05:10, 14 June 2006 (UTC) added by Teke, for context.

I am pretty open, but I guess some of my stuff could be deleted just in case. --WillMak050389 05:14, 14 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for all your help, as I said, I'm not the greatest guy at computers so this is why I'm not perfect with my userpage. So, I should put subst: before all my templates? --WillMak050389 05:27, 14 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

OK, I understand everything so clearly now. P.S. it was four two letter words in a row all starting with i (already fixed it for you). --WillMak050389 05:36, 14 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, I know it is. It just really gets my ire up when I'm labeled a vandal. Trying to cool my head. Fieari 03:43, 15 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Teke, you've asked Fieari and I to come an agreement, and I'm not sure how that happens. Fieari admits POV in regards to Preverted Justice, and says on his talk page that "POV will be allowed on the wiki, so long as it's my POV". What I've done is simply added the legal name of the creator of the organization. He typically uses a psuedonym, which I left intact. This is done in the same spirit as the inclusion of Samuel Clemmons in the Mark Twain article.
Fieari feels that including this information is unesscesary and it "improves the wiki" by removing it. How the wiki is improved by the deletion of a black & white fact which is directly germane to the topic is honestly beyond me.69.162.173.26 12:56, 15 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I'm back[edit]

Hey, nothing urgent right now, but I was wondering how you people get special signatures. Message me when you're free, I'm prolly going to bed soon, so don't sweat about it if you get this message now.

--WillMak050389 03:52, 15 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I can probably figure it out with your info, but if I need help I'll message. Thanks again for all the help, as for me, I'm going to bed, gotta get up early tomorrow.

Please dont delete my stuff — Preceding unsigned comment added by 203.12.147.98 (talkcontribs)

This is in regards to my edit on October Sky. I removed a warning from the article space, and warned User:Teamphysicks. I think the user thought I was considering them a vandal, I left a note. Teke 04:58, 15 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks[edit]

Thanks for the heads up about the vandalism to my user space. Vandals have a fun way of vandalizing, in turn, those who revert their vandalism; gimme a holler if you need a temporary page protect (or any other admin, or non-admin, action or advice). Wiktionary[edit]

Teke, thanks for your tip. I'm sure it works but I can't actually figure out how to do it. Could you please do an example here or on my talk page so I can examine it in edit. Thanks in advance. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Americanunderworld (talkcontribs)

Thanks for the update[edit]

For your helpfulness in updating my user page, I, Redux, hereby award you The Random Acts of Kindness Barnstar. Congratulations! Redux 01:49, 20 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Teke. Thank you for updating the counter. I had been putting it off since Kate's tool and Interiot's tool stopped working. Thank you! Have a RAOK :) Cheers, Redux 01:49, 20 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there Teke. I just went and speedied it and blocked the two vandal accounts. It is clearly false, the pic shows a fully grown African American adult, not a 13yr old boy who has a Vietnamese name. Blnguyen | rant-line 03:41, 21 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there, I'm not sure what pun? It's based on my real name. Blnguyen | rant-line 03:42, 21 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
About my admin work, I was told that the Mahatma Gandhi page-protect that I did ended up in the Indian newspapers. It also mentioned two other protects that I did - Human rights in the People's Republic of China and Military budget of the People's Republic of China.Blnguyen | rant-line 04:13, 23 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Well, thanks very much for that. I didn't even knew that the medal even existed. Seems like I am in rarefied company.Blnguyen | rant-line 04:37, 23 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks...[edit]

A short Esperanzial update[edit]

As you may have gathered, discussions have been raging for about a week on the Esperanza talk page as to the future direction of Esperanza. Some of these are still ongoing and warrant more input (such as the idea to scrap the members list altogether). However, some decisions have been made and the charter has hence been amended. See what happened. Basically, the whole leadership has had a reshuffle, so please review the new, improved charter.

As a result, we are electing 4 people this month. They will replace JoanneB and Pschemp and form a new tranche A, serving until December. Elections will begin on 2006-07-02 and last until 2006-07-09. If you wish to run for a Council position, add your name to the list before 2006-07-02. For more details, see Wikipedia:Esperanza/June 2006 elections.

Thanks and kind, Esperanzial regards, —Celestianpower háblame 16:00, 23 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Saying hello...[edit]

Yeah, it was kinda interesting bumping into Gustav... I was tooling around seeing what linked to the Coat of Arms, went over to his page, and then noticed that he's a ZB frater in the Bond. We ususally chat about Teke on IM every once in a while. I'm happy you met some of our guys at the 03 Conclave - you might have met my twin or one of the guys I was in the chapter with. I presume that since you've been on the Nominating Committee that you've visited OGC? KC9CQJ 06:00, 25 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Walsh is now the Risk Management guy. See ya around. Gustav knows how to get a hold of me. KC9CQJ 08:45, 25 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

DF[edit]

Thanks! If you have an s/n on aim just email it to lightlh246@yahoo.com. Its the account I use for spam mostly, but I don't want bots, or other stupid ppl, to pull off the ones that I regularly use. If you don't have an s/n just send me your email anyway, because an email addy would still be a good thing to have! I'd rather not carry on a conversation here, unless its wikipedia related.

I'm glad you enjoy the shirt, and I hope I get a chance to go to Conclave next year! I'll have a great time editing wikipedia, and anytime I need your help with editing our wikipedia page I'll drop you a line, because I have a lot of ideas of what to put in it. Of course, I want to watch what I disclose and keep an eye on copyright issues. I hope to talk more so I'll catch ya later!

Holy crap! Kc9cqj, or frater JC, posted before me what a coincedence! Anyway, ttyl!

Userpage[edit]

Add this to the top of your userpage:

<div style="position:absolute; z-index:100; right:10px; top:10px;" class="metadata" id="eye"><center><big>'''π α ω ε α'''</big></center></div>

However, the Wikimania text might screw up the letters. If you want to remove the Wikimania text, add this to your monobook.css (got it from GeorgeMoney) :

/* REMOVE THAT UGLY SITENOTICE */

#siteNotice {
    display: none;
}
