September 2007[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Please do not remove speedy deletion tags from articles that you have created yourself, as you did with Kev Thacker. If you do not believe the article should be deleted, then please place {{hangon}} on the page (please do not remove any existing speedy deletion tag) and make your case on the article's talk page. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the article. Thank you. Bongwarrior 08:56, 15 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did to User:Bongwarrior. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Giles Bennett (Talk, Contribs) 09:24, 15 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

It's his user page - there are different rules governing what can be on one's userpage, as opposed to what can be in articles in the mainspace. Giles Bennett (Talk, Contribs) 09:24, 15 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did to User:Bongwarrior‎, you will be blocked from editing. The sunder king 09:57, 15 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Could you please use the talk pages to contact users. If you want to contact Bongwarrior please use his talk page which can be found Here. --The sunder king 10:05, 15 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

This is your last warning.
The next time you vandalize Wikipedia, as you did to User:Gilesbennett, you will be blocked from editing. Giles Bennett (Talk, Contribs) 10:06, 15 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Very grown up of you... Giles Bennett (Talk, Contribs) 10:06, 15 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Signing comments on talk pages[edit]

Hi, there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. On many keyboards, the tilde is entered by holding the Shift key, and pressing the key with the tilde pictured. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! Giles Bennett (Talk, Contribs) 10:10, 15 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Leaving messages for other users[edit]

In my view, if you can use Wikipedia well enough to vandalise my talk page, you know enough to be able to leave a sensible message for me, Bongwarrior, or any other user you're trying to get in contact with. As for the page you created that was deleted, I'd suggest you read WP:Bio and WP:Autobiography before creating any pages on individuals, especially yourself. Giles Bennett (Talk, Contribs) 10:15, 15 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Different rules govern the content of articles, and the content of userpages. Bongwarrior's userpage may state that he or she smokes pot, but that's not incompatible with the rules on userpages. The article you introduced, however, failed to satisfy the criteria laid down by WP:Bio, as well as breaching the guidelines on creating autobiography at WP:Autobiography, which is why I pointed you at those two pages on the page above. Apologies if you felt my tone was treating you like a child, however your edits to, amongst others, my own talk pages hardly displayed maturity, wouldn't you say? Giles Bennett (Talk, Contribs) 10:24, 15 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Why not put it on your own user page, which you can find here - User:Kevizzle. Remember, Wikipedia is an encyclopaedia. If you're notable enough in the world of wrestling to justify an entry in Wikipedia, relax, someone will create one! Giles Bennett (Talk, Contribs) 10:32, 15 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Well played, looks good. One last thing, though, is that I suggest you pop the tag {{userpage}} at the top or bottom of the page, just to make sure people don't get confused as to whether they're looking at an article, or at someone's userpage? Thanks. Giles Bennett (Talk, Contribs) 11:29, 15 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Image source problem with Image:Richard Ruccolo.jpg[edit]

Image Copyright problem
Image Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading Image:Richard Ruccolo.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 22:51, 11 February 2008 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Genisock2 (talk) 22:51, 11 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Image copyright problem with Image:Juggernaught.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Juggernaught.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. Even if you created the image yourself, you still need to release it so Wikipedia can use it. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you made this image yourself, you can use copyright tags like {{PD-self}} (to release all rights), {{self|CC-by-sa-3.0|GFDL}} (to require that you be credited), or any tag here - just go to the image, click edit, and add one of those. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by STBotI. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 09:15, 24 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hey Kevizzle, I just wanted to let you know I responded to your post, tell if my proposal sounds like something you are interested in. « Gonzo fan2007 (talkcontribs) 08:50, 25 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Here's the link: User:Kevizzle/The Juggernaught. And yeah, if you could find some news articles, or official websites (i.e. not fan sites). As an example, if I were to need to provide sources for a football player for Arsenal, I would cite Arsenal.com and other football websites, while also providing some news articles on the player, etc. So after you've done that, let me know on my talk page, and Ill give it a copyedit and a review and if it looks good Ill have you move it to the mainspace. And your welcome! :-) Good luck! « Gonzo fan2007 (talkcontribs) 09:23, 25 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry bro, but you really didnt add much to the article, and actually rereading the article and doing a Google search, it appears that this wrestler just isn't notable enough to be included in an encyclopedia. You need to have third-party, reliable sources to show that this person is notable, which it doesn't appear to be. Sorry again, but we can't accept this article. « Gonzo fan2007 (talkcontribs) 20:48, 25 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I can send you the text via email, but per policy we cannot have the information that has been deleted still on the site. If that's ok with you, than just go to my user page where you will see an email link, just click and send me an email and I'll reply with the deleted text. Cheers, « Gonzo fan2007 (talkcontribs) 06:49, 26 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
