Hello Kevn50. The nature of your edits, such as the one you made to Truliant Federal Credit Union, gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.

Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are extremely strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.

Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Kevn50. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Kevn50|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. Curb Safe Charmer (talk) 16:19, 18 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

As previously advised, your edits, such as the edit you made to Truliant Federal Credit Union, give the impression you have a financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. You were asked to cease editing until you responded by either stating that you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits, or by complying with the mandatory requirements under the Wikimedia Terms of Use that you disclose your employer, client and affiliation. Again, you can post such a disclosure on your user page at User:Kevn50, and the template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Kevn50|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. Please respond before making any other edits to Wikipedia. Curb Safe Charmer (talk) 16:29, 18 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hi Kevn50! I noticed that you have reverted to restore your preferred version of Truliant Federal Credit Union several times. The impulse to undo an edit you disagree with is understandable, but I wanted to make sure you're aware that the edit warring policy disallows repeated reversions even if they are justifiable.

All editors are expected to discuss content disputes on article talk pages to try to reach consensus. If you are unable to agree at Talk:Truliant Federal Credit Union, please use one of the dispute resolution options to seek input from others. Using this approach instead of reverting can help you avoid getting drawn into an edit war. Thank you. Curb Safe Charmer (talk) 16:30, 18 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

You still have not adequately responded or taken action to the inquiry regarding your appearance as an undisclosed paid editor. If you make any additional edits without complying, you may be blocked from editing. Curb Safe Charmer (talk) 17:03, 18 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for advertising or self-promoting in violation of the conflict of interest and notability guidelines.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Widr (talk) 17:40, 18 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

You should be able to edit this page. 331dot (talk) 16:28, 3 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, I am listed as blocked, and I can not submit edit requests Kevn50 (talk) 14:35, 4 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
You cannot make edit requests until you are unblocked. Please see my comment below. 331dot (talk) 14:55, 4 February 2022 (UTC) 331dot (talk) 14:55, 4 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Kevn50 is me, Marketingrequests is an account created by the previous director, who is no longer with Truliant, Yes, I used his account originally until I learned not to. I have no clue who Figis is or how it was on my IP. I am very transparent, I made mistakes, I own them, all I'm asking is for a chance to be reinstated. What should I do (in your opinion) to overcome this obstacle? Kevn50 (talk) 16:23, 4 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

" charged with updating my employer's Wikipedia page"[edit]

Please read the paid editing notice above. Generally, PAID editors should not edit their company's webpage. It is not a webpage. It is an encyclopedia article. Because of your conflict of interest you will find it difficult to edit in a non promotional manner. It would be best to only make suggestions on the article talk page. Very True, but I was blocked from everything but reading. I'm confused as to why i can't find an admin to listen to my case. All help is appreciated. Kevn50 (talk) 20:02, 3 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Please follow the instructions in the notice above to make an unblock request. 331dot (talk) 20:50, 3 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

I made a mistake, one in which I deeply regret and have been understandably blocked for violating the terma and guides for editing Wikipedia. I sincerely request to be unblocked so I can use Wikipedia properly, requesting our company page be edited vs ne editing it. All help is appreciatedKevn50 (talk) 12:15, 4 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

This is the same person as User:Figes, User:Marketingrequests1952, and User:Kevin.Truliant, all of which are now blocked. --jpgordon𝄢𝄆𝄐𝄇 15:28, 4 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Please understand that it is not "your company page", but a Wikipedia article about your company. That is a subtle but important distinction. It will not necessarily say what your company might want it to say, it should only summarize what independent reliable sources with significant coverage have chosen on their own to say about it. Most of what you had written read as if it should be on your company website, not a neutrally written encyclopedia article. Please read WP:COI and WP:PAID(which applies to you as an employee). Is there anything that you want to edit about other than your company? 331dot (talk) 13:49, 4 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
