Brunel University[edit]

Hi, I noticed your edits on Brunel University London, please be aware of WP:OVERLINKING. Terms such as university, engineering, science, technology, do not need to be linked. Could you go back and take them out. Happy editing. Aloneinthewild (talk) 17:45, 4 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Similarly there is no point in linking to an article about a year, when Brunel does not feature in the year's article. Please take them out. --David Biddulph (talk) 12:04, 5 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Template changes[edit]

Please be more careful with your template changes. I reverted several because the formatting became very strange and atypical, such as using odd lowercase grouping labels, bold link titles, extra whitespace, etc. -- ferret (talk) 11:37, 24 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

And please stop removing whitespace from templates. It is deliberately there to aid readability of the template by editors, and causes no harm. -- ferret (talk) 11:43, 24 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

Template:WikiProject Nottinghamshire[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Redrose64. An edit that you recently made to Template:WikiProject Nottinghamshire seemed to be a test and has been removed. If you want more practice editing, please use the sandbox. If you think a mistake was made, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks! The proper way to try out proposed changes to a template is to make a copy of the current version in the template's sandbox page, i.e. Template:WikiProject Nottinghamshire/sandbox, then make your amendments to that. Test a WikiProject banner's sandbox by going to a talk page that already has the live banner - such as Talk:Nottinghamshire - and amend it to use the sandbox version, i.e. alter {{WikiProject Nottinghamshire|...}} to {{WikiProject Nottinghamshire/sandbox|...}} - do not save: use the Show preview feature to make sure that what you desire will actually work. --Redrose64 🌹 (talk) 23:20, 23 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
