Fairies[edit]
Hi! Thank you very much for expanding the Fairies article. You found great sources! Could you help me with understanding one of them? I wanted to add a couple more sentences sourced from it and I don't get it. This paragraph:

I don't understand when exactly they trained for 5 years 10 hours a day. Were they selected to be in the group back in 2006 and then trained? (Unlikely. :D) Or were they all enrolled in the dance schools at a certain age cause the schools accept 7 or 8-year-olds and then train them? --Moscow Connection (talk) 01:40, 3 October 2014 (UTC)
I've just understood that you simply translated from the Japanese Wikipedia. I forgot there was something like that and maybe I never looked at the references cause I didn't need them. The Japanese Wikipedia also says that they lived in the same dormitory for three months before the debut and that now they go to the same school. Can you find a better explanation about how the group was created, when they were selected, how long they trained before the debut? - @Moscow Connection: Hi, I'm so sorry it took this long to reply, I don't log on often. Yes, as you said, I took from the Japanese Wiki. As I understand, that paragraph you have quoted tallies with what they have talked about before on a TV special that documented the road to Fairies' debut. (Sukkiri! 27 July 2011. This could be added as reference if needed.) Vision Factory came up with the concept of the idol group with actual ability first, and in 2006 through the 13 dance schools, they signed contracts with 100 people to train them. For 5 years, they went through those 10 hour lessons, and then the 7 girls that were the most outstanding were picked to form the group. There is not much else I know that can be verified.
- For the living in the same dorm and going to the same school, these are things that all the fans know as they've mentioned on TV a few times. There is no time frame written but here is a blog post that confirms they live together, and here is another that says they go to the same school. I think they didn't mention the 5 years of 10 hour lessons but I could be wrong. In that case, you could use the link where the above text came from, together with the TV special as references.
