Hi. I've been blocked for excessive editing. I didn't notice the message. Totally my bad and I take full responsibility. I would like to be unblocked now that I understand what I was doing wrong. I'm not sure exactly how to do that. I'm hoping you can help me. Kimaleec (talk) 21:35, 4 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Disambiguation link notification for October 1[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Rebecca Harper, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Emily Rose. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 06:06, 1 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Actors’ names in plot[edit]

Hi. Per the Wiki on MOS:FILMPLOT , it says "Do not include actors' names in the plot summary, as it is redundant to the ‘Cast’ section." I saw you restored actors’ names to plots so I thought I’d let you know. Spectrallights (talk) 00:39, 2 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

November 2022[edit]

Please stop your disruptive editing.

If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Men of Honor ‎, you may be blocked from editing. Per the above notice, please stop adding cast members to the Plot section of film articles when there's already a Cast section. DonIago (talk) 17:12, 4 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Holes (film). See above warnings. DonIago (talk) 17:20, 4 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon
You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for persistently making disruptive edits.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Bbb23 (talk) 18:24, 4 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I guess I don't understand why I've been blocked. I didn't notice your message before so sorry about that.

I think you need to read MOS:FILMPLOT, as you were advised to do three days ago. I also noted your problematic behavior in my first warning under this section. DonIago (talk) 19:18, 4 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Again I apologize for not noticing I had a message. I will read.
Again, I apologize. Kimaleec (talk) 19:23, 4 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
If you will unblock me I can go back and remove what I did.
I just saw that sometimes the actors were listed in the plot summary and sometimes they weren't so.....
I was just bored at work and found something to pass the time.
But I can totally undo it. I would hate for someone to have to that.
Totally my bad!!! I feel really bad that this cause an issue. Kimaleec (talk) 19:44, 4 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I'm not an admin, so I can't unblock you, but directions for how you can request an unblock are listed in the block notice. DonIago (talk) 20:32, 4 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

Procedural decline only. This unblock request has been open for more than two weeks but has not proven sufficient for any reviewing administrator to take action. You are welcome to request a new block review if you substantially reword your request. To be unblocked, you must convince the reviewing administrator(s) that

  • the block is not necessary to prevent damage or disruption to Wikipedia, or
  • the block is no longer necessary because you
    1. understand what you have been blocked for,
    2. will not continue to cause damage or disruption, and
    3. will make useful contributions instead.

Please read the guide to appealing blocks for more information. Yamla (talk) 11:50, 25 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
