ICOF[edit]

Your messages in the ICOF deletion discussion were tagged as {{spa}} for the simple reason that it is a fact that this account 'has been used almost exclusively to edit the ICOF article and its deletion discussion. That is relevant information to the AfD process, and you must not remove such tags from the discussion. If you continue to do so, you may be banned from editing. Your recent edits[edit]

Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. On many keyboards, the tilde is entered by holding the Shift key, and pressing the key with the tilde pictured. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot 21:52, 5 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please assume good faith[edit]

In the ICOF discussion, at no point have I failed to assume good faith. Neither IMHO has Someguy failed to assume good faith.

  1. Describing the article as a vanity article is fair comment. It was an article created by an organisation to promote itself. That doesn't mean that I assume lack of good faith. Indeed I assumed that the writer, being new to Wikipedia wasn't aware of policy.
  2. It is true to say that both You and George Rogers have edited little or nothing outside of this article, and this can be seen in your contribution history.
  3. No admin will take an {{spa}} tag at face value, but will check your contributions history. As such the repeated blanking of the tag was rather counterproductive.
  4. Again, I assumed a lack of experience when it came to removing the tags, rather than a deliberate attempt to subvert the process
  5. In return for my assumption of good faith, I have been attacked, accused of being a sockpuppet, and accused of colluding with another editor.

For the record, I have never met Someguy, and have no idea who he is. If anybody thinks we are sockpuppets, I will willingly consent to having a checkuser run against me, to confirm that I am not a sockpuppet.
