University of Utah[edit]

Here is a webpage that has a whole collection of articles about U of U History

The names on the U of U page from the College of Engineering where already there. It is fine with me if you move them or just have them on the other pages. I have always thought that the programs section needs quite a bit of work.

About the photo page, those aren't my photos I just stumbled onto it one day and noticed that it had a lot of photos of the U or U campus. I don't know much about image copyrights and how to get the photos onto the pages. I suspect someone would have to get permission from the person who owns the website. I would doubt that they are already in the public domain.

Photos[edit]

Hey, I looked into this a little bit and the photo page that you asked about is actually owned by a wikipedian. I put in some requests to him to add photos. He has a lot of the U of U campus. Here is his user talk page:User talk:Yintercept. You can see the ones I have already asked him to add. It looks like he has been inactive for sometime so if he doesn't respond we may have to email him.

License tagging for File:HuntsmanCancerInstituteLogo.png[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:HuntsmanCancerInstituteLogo.png. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.

For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 22:07, 28 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Vandalism indeed[edit]

Have you any idea what that crazy animal did in Vietnam? She toured POW camps belonging to the North Vietnamese and while she was there, she was given little notes containing the dog tag numbers of soldiers who were in the camp. These notes were to be forwarded to the families of the POWs. Instead of giving them to the US government, she gave them to the North Vietnamese! She pretty much caused the execution of dozens of US soldiers!

So calling her a bitch is 'vandalism'? The fact that she is still legally allowed to waste the air we breath is vandalism.

KEIRSTEN[edit]

Hi you asked me for the reference ! I have the books so it's in the third book "AT" page 7, it's on a picture of an official paper which may be a passport I suppose. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 87.91.203.124 (talk) 22:54, 25 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free media (File:WeberStateUniversityLogo.png)[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:WeberStateUniversityLogo.png. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Werieth (talk) 16:57, 17 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
