Nonfree use rationale[edit]

I am not convinced that the nonfree use rationale for File:Pieris brassicae Butterflies of Panjab University Chandigarh.jpg is compelling. Before I nominate for deletion, though, I'm not clear what you mean by the phrase "consent of creator is taken". Can you explain?--S Philbrick (Talk) 14:21, 4 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

As you have sought clarification on https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_talk:Kmrarun about a photograph, I would like apprise that the photo is clicked by Mr. Navtej Singh but I have uploaded with his consent on wikipedia for the viewers. Please specify why would you nominate the same for deletion? 'Consent of creator is taken' == consent of photographer is obtained .. but since the phrase did confuse you, I am changing the words. Please see if you are ok with the same else you may like to specify what should I do?

Dear Sfan00

As I understand that the file is flagged because of permissions associated with the file. I did upload the file after permissions from the one who is not tech (wikipedia) savvy. moreover I am admin to the group https://www.facebook.com/groups/naturalbiodiversity/ that works under GPL and any pic posted there can be used by the members/admin/society with credits. Further I learnt that for wikipedia I was asked to arrange the explicit permission email from the authentic ID of the original source. This is practically not possible for me as I had plan to update wikipedia for many relevant images to various topics related to biodiversity. After this communication, if you feel the pic should be removed, I can do so. I would be uploading only my clicks in that case.

I suggest that there should be a way out of verification of the uploader and only email from the one (not from every photographer but uploader) should be sufficient.
