Hello Yunshui - I understand the concern. None of the updates made by me have been false, or libelous, or an infringement of copyright. The actor consistently has the wrong dates published for this birth year and month. I always update it with the correct information. We have documents and proof of his legitimate birth date. This is why there were efforts to change the false information on the Italian and Afrikaans version for Michael Aronov. All the updates that are made on his behalf are certainly not biased, but accurate and valid. We receive authentic information about any new works or notable life and professional endeavors the actor makes before anyone else. There is no hyperbole in the additions. These are facts and cross-referenced. Please feel free to let me know what else I can do to validate these contributions. Thank you, Knutonfire

I have reverted your edits to the Michael Aronov article as they removed categories. Could you please follow conventions when editing. --Racklever (talk) 20:31, 18 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hello @Racklever:

We represent the actual person and actor, Michael Aronov. The information that we have added is all authentic, factual, and updated information. The Italian and Africaans version has false and libelous information - ie. date of birth, month, day, parent's names and place of birth. We have updated to keep the facts for this person, authentic and true. I understand keeping this site and work legit, that is what we were making great efforts to do. Please eliminate the "block" and help us to contribute our most authentic and updated version of information to Michael Aronov.

Respectfully, [[User:|Knutonfire]]

You use "we"; accounts are for the exclusive use of single individuals. You will need to designate a single individual to exclusively operate this account. Regarding the block, you edit warred to keep your preferred version of an article. Instead of edit warring, you should discuss your concerns on the article talk page. If there is libelous information in the article, you should follow the instructions at WP:LIBEL to address it(you don't need to be unblocked to do that). You also have failed to comply with the conflict of interest and paid editing policies. You will need to address these matters in order to be unblocked, and tell what unrelated subjects you want to edit about. I am declining your request. 331dot (talk) 20:55, 2 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

Thank you for letting me know all of this. Compared to you or the other editors here, I am fairly new to it, but I do not work for anyone at all. Have never been payed for trying to update this page or anyone elses. Ever. There is no conflict of interest. The actor, like many actors, has many different bits of information out there about him. Much of it is false and in turn, can be damaging. Even on this page alone: if you look at the Italian and Africaans version of the MICHAEL ARONOV page, the birth date is completely different from one another. Both of which are wrong. I know his background and history well. There have been no efforts on my part to promote this man, he's greatly successful without me - I only wish to update information that has yet to be listed, and correct his birth date and year and family name, which is also incorrect, along with any other info that may be false. I did not know that the way to do this is to first go on the "talk page". Was wrong in assuming we just edit the correct information and trust it will be left alone and not reverted. I thought that is how it is done. I will do this from now on, if you'll allow. Before there are any deletions of previous information, I will go on this talk page or the talk page of the person who had updated the page and present my information. I am not interested in warring, believe me. There are many things to be done and dealt with in my life than fighting about someone else with someone else. My ignorance with the edits is more misinformation than aggression. I use "we" because there are other artists who suffer from the same erroneous info throughout the web and I along with a few others do what we can to ameliorate this. No effort in fighting or grandstanding, just giving authentic info for those who are in the limelight. I imagine this is one of the great contributions of wikipedia in the first place. Truth in the content. Please evaluate and reconsider. If there is more behavior that is in any way incorrect on my end, let me know and I will continue to learn as I go. Obviously not as skilled at this as you are. But working on improving it all. Thank you for bearing with me. Knutonfire (talk) 23:59, 2 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

I'm not buying it. This is a straight-forward case of WP:COI and WP:UPE. You've described yourself as the representative, then tried to walk it back. Michael Aranov has stated you are his representative, and that you should be the main editor of the page in violation of WP:OWN. No, I'm not buying your claim that you are just using the wrong word here. Yamla (talk) 11:32, 3 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Knutonfire, how is "represent"ing someone without a conflict of interest possible? ~ ToBeFree (talk) 00:05, 3 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hi ToBeFree, When I say represent, I'm not meaning as a lawyer or agent, but more as someone who actually knows the history and information on the subject being written about. In the way any editor may feel they represent a person they write about or contribute information for. When they do, they, in turn, keep the subject from being falsely written about. There's a fine line when any random person can contribute what they want solely because they may have read it on another site. Sometimes the info is legit and valuable. Sometimes it is not. This is where I feel I "represent" a person who has no say in the matter of what may be written about them. It was the wrong word. My apologies. It's semantics and I would have used a different word if I knew it would be interpreted as working for someone or having a conflict of interest. The trouble or fear being any random person who has no real knowledge of a celebrity or public figure being able to add what they want, when they want. An example is the birth dates the other two pages have for Michael Aronov in Italian and Africaans. It's false and can be harmful to people reading about this artist assuming info that isn't true. Like being 14 years older than he actually is, and born in a different month and city with the wrong parents' names. Without some knowledge of the person there is no true representation, just a regurgitation of other sites or mere assumptions. Knutonfire (talk)

Thank you very much for the detailed explanation; this term might have played a significant role in the block decision, and may be a misunderstanding. ~ ToBeFree (talk) 00:32, 3 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for saying that ToBeFree. I think you're right. Hopefully they read the above and understand, eventually helping me in getting better at any contributions I may have from here onward. Knutonfire (talk)

It may be worth noting in reviewing the block that an individual claiming to be Michael Aranov (it's a gmail address so there is no guarantee that it is really him, but I can't see any obvious reason for it to be fake) has specifically requested via OTRS that his representative User:Knutonfire be granted permission to be "the main updater for the page". I therefore suspect that we are not being told the whole truth here. Yunshui  11:22, 3 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

If a "Michael Aranov" messaged you claiming to be Michael Aronov, chances are it's not the real person - given that he would know how to spell his actual name correctly. If, for some odd reason, it is in fact the real person, wanting me to be the "main updater" of the page also would make sense in that he would know I've always kept his information from being random, falsified, and unverified. I've done this not just for him on other public sites, but for other artists, dancers and musicians who have no voice. And it seems as though Michael Aronov has none here. My efforts are to ameliorate false and undocumented information for public figures. Trying to rectify this is an honor, not a payed job. Not once have I added one bit of information about him on this page that was not factual. Not once. I do this, as hard as it may be to believe, in order to help there be truth and integrity out there. Wrongly putting out fake information about anyone is a form of bullying. There continues to be false info about the subject here and yet nothing at all is done. Over 4 times it's been mentioned that there is erroneous information on his page in the Italian and Africaans Michael Aronov Wikipedia page. The birth dates are both wrong and drastically different, along with the incorrect names of this person's parents and birth location, yet that has not even been addressed or touched. It seems like stepping on my neck here is more valuable and easier than maintaining any sense of authenticity for a subject on this website. Knutonfire (talk) 15:09, 3 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

You've not actually addressed the reasons for your block, and your WP:COI is implicit in this request. Please see Wikipedia:Biographies of living persons/Help for relevant information about addressing perceived inaccuracies. Please be aware that all content must be cited from reliable sources that are unconnected with the subject and have a reputation for fact checking." Any changes to the article would need to be supported by such. You may not edit directly, though it might be reasonable to allow you to make suggestions on the talk page. You've gone to great lengths to mischaracterize a great deal in your unblock requests. You should be aware that further debate without actually addressing the reasons for your block may result in you losing access to this talk page. I see where you have been advised of the need for you to read and heed WP:COI and WP:PAID. I reiterate a statement of that need.-- Deepfriedokra 22:01, 3 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
