This is where you can contact me. please only contact me here if it is necessary, like if you revert my edit don't message me I don't really care that much. If it is actually important, just use this link: https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=User_talk:KommanderC&action=edit&section=new I am too lazy to make it proper wikitext format. please use that link instead of just editing the source. It keeps the formatting nice, and I will straight up delete your message if you do it otherwise.

Edit Request[edit]

Information icon Hello. An edit request you recently made was empty and has been removed. Please see planning an edit request for more information on how to prepare a proper request. If you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you, WriterArtistCoder (talk) 02:37, 18 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon greetings, WriterArtistCoder. Please add a new section when leaving talk page messages, instead of just editing the user talk page. it messes up the format of everything, and does not look nice. The easy way to do this is to hit "New section" instead of just "Edit source". as for the edit request, thank you for informing me, as I will not make that mistake twice. I will also fix the formatting for you. If you have any questions, You can leave me a message, or go on the Teahouse. Thank you, KommanderChicken (talk) 14:34, 19 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Borodino/Berezina[edit]

I have no idea why, but it seems the entire article for the Battle of Berezina has been replaced by that of Borodino. Here are the links below for reference:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_Berezina

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_Borodino

Looking at Berezina's edit histories, it seems this vandalism dates back quite a bit. I'll try to find out where the previous page for Berezina went, and who removed it, but until then do note what Ruehi was doing was misguided but ultimately with good intentions.

Edit: I've found the revision right before all of Ruehi's, and it looks like this:

https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Battle_of_Berezina&oldid=997163793

Just found the guys responsible as well. I wonder if this is ground for banning these IP users due to their vandalism under guise of POV changes:

fixing vandalism is necessary, although it can be confusing, and also absolutely hilarious. An IP vandal called me "Kommander of the toilet". look at the edit history on Flex SealKommanderChicken (talk) 02:40, 7 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

here is the link @ShanganiPatrol https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Flex_Seal&oldid=1010717756 KommanderChicken (talk) 02:42, 7 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I have seen the new Berezina page, and I entirely agree with User:RandomCanadian 's edit. If you wish to remove Ruedi's edits, you may do so, but please do not remove RandomCanadian's edit, as it is both correct and constructive due to sudden changes to the article on March 1st. If you were to look at the state of the page anytime before March 1st, you would see what I mean with the comments about the vandalism. Even when Ruedi33a and Lilyuuta were discussing the contents of the page earlier this year, they did not drastically change the entire article as the IP users did.

Change a special campaignbox[edit]

{{Campaignbox Napoleon's invasion of Russia}} Hi, I did a lot of work within articles pointed to by the "Campaignbox Napoleon's invasion of Russia". The first battle here, Grodno, seems not to exist as Google does not know it, all my books do not know it and in the German and French Wikipedia in the corresponding boxes like the de:Vorlage:Linkbox Napoléons Russlandfeldzug it is not mentioned. The only information I found is in the unsafe http://cliomaps.de/timelines/russlandfeldzug-1812 : 29. Juni 1812 – France/ Poland (Jerome I/ Poniatowski) occupies Grodno (Hrodna). How is it possible to delete Grodno in the Campaignbox Napoleon's invasion of Russia? Ruedi33a (talk) 07:28, 8 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

In the top left corner of the template, you should see V.T.E. Click on E, and then remove grodno. In this case, I removed it for you. KommanderChicken (talk) 14:39, 8 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Military wikia[edit]

at the bottom of the page on military.wikia.com you're claiming as a legitimate source is the text "This page uses Creative Commons Licensed content from Wikipedia (view authors)."

As wikipedia itself is not a reliable source, any website that reuses wikipedia content is also unreliable.GraemeLeggett (talk) 17:00, 29 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

GraemeLeggett Thats better. A proper explanation. I will now remove the citation. thank you for cooperating. KommanderChicken (talk) 17:10, 29 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I did say in the edit summary at the time that "militarywiki is just wikipedia content repackaged" GraemeLeggett (talk) 18:14, 29 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
