Do you have access to historical data on the B5000, B5500 and B5700? If so, would you consider adding design and manufacturing locations to Burroughs large systems? Thanks. Shmuel (Seymour J.) Metz Username:Chatul (talk) 15:20, 25 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Why does the "Burroughs large systems instruction sets" page say "Thus VALC covers syllable values 0000 to 3FFF and NAMC 4000 to 7FFF." ? Who would program 0x4000 stack cells/positions before use of NAMC makes any sense? I confess I've studied MCP programming with NEWP (Uni Munich), core dumps and also the large system compilers' stack building code for libraries etc, of MCP/NEWP, DMS-II/DMAlgol, GEMCOS/DCAlgol and plain Algol, on B5930 (Germany), B6800 (Austria+Germany) and B7900 (Germany). Perhaps you meant something else (or an Intel/Wintel games console ;-) --91.1.106.147 (talk) 07:03, 7 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
