More welcome stuff[edit]

Hey, saw that your first edit was a spelling correction! I think that almost all of my first edits on the wikis that I'm involved with involved spelling/grammar corrections. (I'm a grammarian.) I'm also a part of the current WikiGuides trial program, so I've been given a list of 10 new editors to contact and offer to assist. Wikipedia can be frustrating to start out with, and there are a ton of long policy documents, technical discussion, internal essays and more, and that can be alienating. That said, a lot of the basics aren't too bad, and a lot of the bumps are easier with someone to help you roll with them. Feel free to contact me at any point with any question by hitting the "Talk" button in my signature and posting on my Talk page. Give me a shout if I can assist you over some of the early hurdles. Happy editing,WIERDGREENMAN (talk) 09:23, 1 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
