John Mark Karr[edit]

Hey Kurone, welcome to Wikipedia. :) Thankyou for reverting the vandalism on the John Mark Karr page. Much appreciated. But I was wondering if there was a reason you placed a protection tag on the article? [1] Thanks, Sarah Ewart (Talk) 05:12, 18 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I don't know if you put it there because you thought it needed to be protected or if there is another reason, but I've removed it now. The article is not protected and hasn't been for over a month. If it were protected, you and the IP you reverted wouldn't have been able to edit. Also, just so you know, only administrators can protect and the tag doesn't protect the article, it just lets people know that it is protected (or Semi-protected). If you find you need any help with anything, feel free to give me a yell. Cheers, Sarah Ewart (Talk) 05:41, 18 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Hey Kurone, thanks for your reply. It wasn't a problem or anything, i just wasn't sure if you were trying to ask for the page to be protected. In future, if you feel a page is being vandalised enough to warrant protection or semi-protection (protection from anons and new accounts less than four days old), you can list it here: WP:RPP and an admin will come and check it out. Please feel free to post on my talk page anytime if I can be of assistance. Once again, welcome to the 'pedia. :) Sarah Ewart (Talk) 18:46, 19 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
