Use of bold

The Manual of Style states that bold font should only be used for the subject title of the article; bold is never used to emphasize Wikilinks. Yworo (talk) 04:02, 23 September 2014 (UTC)

See WP:BOLDTITLE, WP:MOSBOLD, and Wikipedia:Superfluous bolding explained. Also, please do not accuse other editors of "bias" when they are merely removing superfluous formatting. That's a violation of our assume good faith and no personal attacks rules. Yworo (talk) 04:08, 23 September 2014 (UTC)

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Jesse Warn requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. reddogsix (talk) 02:38, 29 September 2014 (UTC)

Jean Loring

Why do you keep wanting that added? She was never his partner.. point me to the discussion where it was decided that people wanted it in there? Someone added it awhile back and no one questioned it before is not the same as "established consensus." Point me to the issue # where she works besides him in anysort of partnership? Superman's page does not list Lois as a partner, Barry Allen does not list Iris as a partner. Your only reasoning in your edit summaries is "its been there for a long while..." that doesnt explain why it should be there. Spanneraol (talk) 00:18, 6 January 2015 (UTC)

I left a response in the Atom talk page. No, I am not impressed to find that there is no discussion which insists keeping that entry on the navbox list, even though you implied that there is one. And yes, I am completely in agreement with Spanneraol on the subject. It's a case by case basis; certain characters like Mera, Steve Trevor, Larry Lance and even Sue Dibny have an established print history of consistently working alongside the titular protagonists besides being their love interests. Lois Lane is a bit of a tricky case because she does have agency as a character and does her own thing as often as being at Superman's side, but clearly Jean Loring isn't and never was.

Keep in mind as well, consensus can change. Haleth (talk) 01:09, 6 January 2015 (UTC)

Glee season changes

LLArrow, please note that the ampersands have not been used in earlier seasons when Murphy, Falchuk, and Brennan shared credits, and this has been established for a while. I will be reverting you once again, and if you really, really think they belong despite the Manual of Style's preference, please argue your case in the season 6 talk page, since to do it on all the seasons where the three of them shared credits isn't necessary. Thank you. BlueMoonset (talk) 02:26, 13 January 2015 (UTC)

American Horror Story: Freak Show

I just wanted to let you know that I really appreciate your edits on American Horror Story: Freak Show. I can tell that you are very passionate about the show and the article. But I would like to respectfully ask you to stop revert correctional edits back to a previous edit that you made. An example of this would be the phrase "the world's smallest woman." Since we only live in one world, it is "world's", not "worlds". Please take this into consideration. I also would like to ask you to stop reverting character names, descriptions, and moving billed primary actors to the recurring section. The confirmation of the return of actors in previous installments basically means that as of now they belong in the main cast until stated otherwise. Thank you for all of your contributions! DantODB (talk) 14:27, 21 August 2014 (UTC)

I know there have been a lot of edits and reverts to AHS Freak Show. Drew Rin Varick is a confirmed cast member according to IMBD his character is named Toulouse and he is confirmed for 3 episodes. Is there a reason he is not on the cast list?(talk) — Preceding undated comment added 23:55, 29 August 2014 (UTC)

I have not seen any verifiable source stating his cast. If you know of such a source please let me know. LLArrow (talk) 03:28, 30 August 2014 (UTC)
Hi. I have not been editing American Horror Story: Coven, so I did not understand why you posted a link to that article on my talk page. Regarding Freak Show, I am only trying to follow actual credits from the actual show. Thank you for all of your contributions! DantODB (talk) 12:40, 30 August 2014 (UTC)
Hi! I just wanted to let you know that Twisty the clown killer is an incorrect way to state a character's name. It should be Twisty the Clown Killer if it is the actual name. Since all of the references for the character state simply Twisty or Twisty the clown killer, it is clear that "clown killer" is a character description. So, the right way to state this is Twisty, the "clown killer". Thank you for all of your contributions! DantODB (talk) 14:35, 30 August 2014 (UTC)
Hi. I am getting really tired of reverting all of your edits. I don't understand why you never explain your edits, other than the previous revision being "dubious" or "unnecessary". Unfortunately, that is not explanatory enough. An example would be the addition of Gabourey Sidibe and Jamie Brewer to the Cast section. You did not provide a source for their involvement on (at least) a recurring basis, therefore they do not belong in the section. Another edit of yours being locating Patti LaBelle. It was never said that LaBelle is to be a recurring character. She is reported to be appearing in four episodes, but nothing was ever said about a recurring status. And since her name appeared on the poster, it is likely that she will be be billed as a "Special Guest Star", like Angela Bassett and Sidibe in the previous season. So, I would really appreciate it if you don't draw your own conclusions and edit the page only to your liking. Thank you for all of your contributions! DantODB (talk) 07:35, 8 September 2014 (UTC)
Hi. I would like to point out that I specifically said that co-stars do not have recurring status. Recurring actors are always billed as guest actors. Actors that are only credited as co-stars indicate minimal involvement, hence they are not to be put under recurring. Prolific or not, Gummer appeared in Coven, which is what the sentence refers to. Worthy of header status or not, Grossman's especial involvement is already detailed in casting, making it unnecessary to especially mention it again. Poor grammar undermines the article's quality, which I am only trying to make better. DantODB (talk) 23:07, 11 October 2014 (UTC)

Hi, I'm here to justify myself about my edition on American Horror Story: Freak Show page. Be aware that I'm not fluent in English yet. Firstly, you had no reason to be rude. Secondly, I kept adding actress Jamie Brewer as a recurring guest because someone had added her before and then someone else deleted it and I thought it was some person behaving inappropriate. I'm sorry about this misunderstanding, I just created this account recently. If I may ask, what kind of source should I use in this case? Israeldmo (talk) 22:59, 13 January 2015 (UTC)

Thank you and, again, I'm sorry about it. I still don't quite understand why exactly I couldn't add her if she already appeared in episode 11, Magical Thinking. I noticed user Caecae26 added her again as a recurring actress, I hope he provided a proper sourcing. Israeldmo (talk) 22:13, 14 January 2015 (UTC)

Canvassing

Hey, just so you don't get accused of canvassing in the future (and I don't believe this would qualify), just post the request for comment at WP:TV, of it's an application of the guideline to WP:MOSTV. You'll get more opinions, and Favre and I will still see. Make sure the request is neutral as well. Cheers.  BIGNOLE  (Contact me) 12:51, 26 February 2015 (UTC)

It was a mistake to reach out to you, I apologize. It seems Wikipedia never fails to supply a regulation I am unaware of. Thanks, LLArrow (talk) 17:20, 26 February 2015 (UTC)

Once Upon a Time 2 part finale

Why remove it completely? Why not just leave it hidden on the page where it would be easy to readd when confirmed?--Ditto51 (My Talk Page) 08:07, 17 March 2015 (UTC)

It had misconfigured the table. LLArrow (talk) 17:02, 17 March 2015 (UTC)

Scream Queens

Do you think we should upgrade the protection to pending changes once the full protection is over? Callmemirela (talk) 17:58, 21 March 2015 (UTC)

At the current rate of editors adding in this unsourced malarkey, I say absolutely. LLArrow (talk) 20:04, 21 March 2015 (UTC)

Not the last season (Devious Maids)

Hi :) I saw you added a tweet saying it was the last season of Devious Maids, on the page for the third season. Apparently, it is a problem of comprehension. You should give a look to the answers to this tweet :) https://twitter.com/TheRealAnaOrtiz/status/582621204105830400 2A02:8425:732:400:2847:3A27:C67F:F95D (talk) 15:55, 31 March 2015 (UTC)

Not will be last season. Just see tweets after her tweet. 'Last' it was about second season.--Alrofficial (talk) 19:38, 31 March 2015 (UTC)
@Alrofficial: The tweeter asks "Are you happy for the last season of the show?", Ortiz replies, "Yes! Filming season 3 now & it's fabulous!" Later the tweeter clarifies that they were not inquiring about the last season, but that mean absolutely nothing. Ortiz had already answered the question. So she most definitely CONFIRMED it would be the last season. LLArrow (talk) 23:36, 31 March 2015 (UTC)
I'm sorry but this tweet is really confusing and totally unclear. You just can"t use a tweet like that as source to say it is the end of a show. Most definitely, it is not season. You just understand it like that, but it is too unclear to be used as a source. 2A02:8425:732:400:2847:3A27:C67F:F95D (talk) 00:43, 1 April 2015 (UTC)
I don't say it is definitively ending. It states "seemingly". If you can find a verifiable source stating this will NOT be the last season, then please let me know. If not, the info remains. LLArrow (talk) 01:02, 1 April 2015 (UTC)

Inappropriate?

Can you explain to me how Easter eggs are inappropriate? I can't find any Wikipedia policy that says it's inappropriate. Maybe I'm missing something.Pjstar35 (talk) 19:14, 1 April 2015 (UTC)

Can you find me any other examples of other series having an easter egg section?. LLArrow (talk) 21:48, 1 April 2015 (UTC)
So because it supossedly doesn't exist on any other series' page that makes it inappropriate? A lot of shows don't have the ability to include easter eggs since they're not related to a comic book or other material. The other shows that are related to a comic or other material maybe don't include them at all or not enough of them to really make them notable unlike with Constantine. Pjstar35 (talk) 12:21, 2 April 2015 (UTC)
Look I realize the easter eggs may be a fun little trivia for the comic readers (I'm one myself), but it simply does not qualify as remarkable on the series Wikipedia article. LLArrow (talk) 16:58, 2 April 2015 (UTC)

Hello, and thank you for your recent contribution. I appreciate the effort you made for our project, but unfortunately I had to undo your edit because I believe the article was better before you made that change. Scream Queens part 2

Okay,

This whole pending changes is somewhat helping, but the disruptive keeps on continuing. Whilst I am left with the only option of reverting, I am seriously thinking about a infinite semi-protection, because this is actually ridiculous. I am not sure if it is possible to have pending changes and semi-protection, but I will ask around. If so, I will request semi-protection. PS: You should really apply for pending changes reviewer here to revert changes on the article. Callmemirela (talk) 15:20, 5 April 2015 (UTC)

@Callmemirela: I think it's an inspired idea; and done. Thank you, LLArrow (talk) 17:10, 5 April 2015 (UTC)

Gorilla Grodd

Can you please give me a better explanation for this edit than "Reverting bias edits"? No idea what you're talking about. That is way too much information. Most superhero articles have "fictional" in the lead too. DangerousJXD (talk) 09:18, 9 April 2015 (UTC)

Are you going to say something then? Nearly every character in that game that has an article on Wikipedia mentioning them being in it, doesn't go into excessive detail. Why must it stay? If it must stay, trim it (I could easily now but I'll wait to see what you say). Why did you call my edit "bias"? Thanks for leaving "fictional" in the lead (it is the standard). Please chime in. In the end, it isn't the most important thing on Wikipedia. :) -DangerousJXD (talk) 22:01, 9 April 2015 (UTC)
@DangerousJXD: If you make any sort of major change to the information it must be agreed upon on the Talk page first. We are not allowed to enforce our opinions on Wikipedia. LLArrow (talk) 22:11, 9 April 2015 (UTC)
Thanks for the timely response but could you answer my questions please? It's not even close to a major change and it is not really my opinion (I made it clear that it wasn't just my opinion by saying "Nearly every character in that game that has an article on Wikipedia mentioning them being in it, doesn't go into excessive detail." above). There is no point taking this to the talk page because you're the only one that'll be there, (as I said above) it's not a major change, and we've already started a discussion here. —DangerousJXD (talk) 22:15, 9 April 2015 (UTC)
@DangerousJXD: The information must stay because you are the only one to ever take grievance with it. You're edit was bias because it demonstrated your opinion on the matter. It doesn't matter who you think will be commenting on this at the Talk page; it's policy to take major changes there to have them gain consensus before being implemented. My advice, make the changes you want, if they happen to be too extensive, I'm sure you'll be reverted. Thanks and cheers, LLArrow (talk) 22:26, 9 April 2015 (UTC)
I tried trimming it but it is a bit hard when none of it belongs. It is not my opinion. Don't call people biased. Don't throw around accusations please. I don't care anymore. Have the article any way you want. See ya. :) –DangerousJXD (talk) 22:42, 9 April 2015 (UTC)
@DangerousJXD: Calling an editor biased isn't derogatory, it merely means you've done something against policy. LLArrow (talk) 23:13, 9 April 2015 (UTC)
I did nothing against policy. I am done with the matter. –DangerousJXD (talk) 23:49, 9 April 2015 (UTC)

Yeah, you did, but that's okay. It's how we learn. LLArrow (talk) 23:59, 9 April 2015 (UTC)

Scream Queens hatnote

RE your reversion of my edit: the guidelines at WP:HAT, specifically WP:NAMB, discourage the use of hatnotes when page names are made unambiguous by parenthetical clarifiers. I'm not going to revert your edit, but if you're intent on the page having a hatnote, you ought at least to point it directly at Scream Queens (2008 TV series) instead of Scream Queens, which is the disambiguation page. Thanks, VeryCrocker (talk) 07:30, 14 April 2015 (UTC)

I don't see the problem. Jessica Lange is leaving. If you don't say she is, the article is implying she's not.— Vchimpanzee • talk • contributions • 22:16, 16 April 2015 (UTC)

@Vchimpanzee: Not sure what you're referring to. The tidbit of Lange's departure is currently in the article. The only thing removed was the faulty source. LLArrow (talk) 22:25, 16 April 2015 (UTC)
Show me where, because I looked and looked.— Vchimpanzee • talk • contributions • 23:07, 16 April 2015 (UTC)
Okay, there's more history. Someone else disagreed with you and agreed with me and put it back. And there's nothing wrong with my source. I've used it a hundred times at least for Wikipedia. If it's in another source, fine, but there's nothing wrong with my source.— Vchimpanzee • talk • contributions • 23:10, 16 April 2015 (UTC)
No actually, non-U.S. sources are discouraged. LLArrow (talk) 23:55, 16 April 2015 (UTC)
There's nothing about my source which makes it "non-U.S.". The syndicated column ran in the weekly section of my local paper some years ago. When they dropped it, I went on line. It's getting harder to find the column online, but King Features still distributes it. If people want to replace the source for my information that's fine, because when I read this column I don't generally waste my time looking for better sources. Once, she did get the information wrong but it sure looked right because she said she talked to the movie's producer. But the other person and I came to an agreement and we decided she somehow got it wrong.— Vchimpanzee • talk • contributions • 15:19, 17 April 2015 (UTC)

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, talk pages are meant to be a record of a discussion; deleting or editing legitimate comments, as you did at Talk:Scream Queens (2015 TV series), is considered bad practice, even if you meant well. Even making spelling and grammatical corrections in others' comments is generally frowned upon, as it tends to irritate the users whose comments you are correcting. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Keri (talk) 11:44, 20 April 2015 (UTC)

@Keri: Firstly, I've been a contributor to Wikipedia, on and off, for over six years, so no need to welcome me. Secondly, I am well aware of this site rules and regulations. I removed the comment do to it being malformed. It was probably a hasty decision, but I grow tired of IP's not "trying". LLArrow (talk) 17:03, 20 April 2015 (UTC)
All it lacked was a header, that is hardly "not trying". The points the user raised are also still valid. I can see how long you've been here, the welcome comes with the template, and I'm a firm believer in WP:TTR. Keri (talk) 17:11, 20 April 2015 (UTC)
Well you and I have a vastly different definition of "valid".LLArrow (talk) 17:16, 20 April 2015 (UTC)

"Bad source"

This diff. Point me to the discussion where this is listed as a "bad source"; as far as I am aware, they use ratings provided by Nielsen. Keri (talk) 20:09, 27 April 2015 (UTC)

@Keri: the real numbers were just released. As I said, bad source. LLArrow (talk) 22:07, 27 April 2015 (UTC)
Ah, I see; so not a "bad source" at all, then - just superceded by a later "adjusted" Nielsen release. Serious attitude problem... Keri (talk) 23:45, 27 April 2015 (UTC)
@Keri: "Attitude problem"? Me? You must not be from around these parts. It get's a lot uglier than my benevolent correction. Perhaps Wikipedia isn't for you. LLArrow (talk) 03:26, 28 April 2015 (UTC)

Once Upon a Time (season 5)

You may need to clear your cache to see that File:Once Upon a Time, season 5 promotional art.jpg and File:OUAT Season 5 Promotional.png are the same poster, both with the black apple. The latter (originally included in Once Upon a Time (season 5)) was updated, instead of a new image being uploaded (as per the former). Alex|The|Whovian 03:44, 12 August 2015 (UTC)

@AlexTheWhovian: I know! I finally wised up and did that after making an @$$ of myself in more than one way. I'm sorry for undermining you. You do such great work here! Please feel free to slap me around a little if I ever get out of line :P. LLArrow (talk) 03:50, 12 August 2015 (UTC)
No problems. :P I probably should have mentioned clearing the cache when I uploaded it. Alex|The|Whovian 03:54, 12 August 2015 (UTC)

It is extremely irritating that you are simply reverting the edits without any knowledge of why. Either stop and raise a discussion in the talk page else just cease. —Indian:BIO [ ChitChat ] 06:30, 7 August 2015 (UTC)

Stop icon

Your recent editing history at American Horror Story: Asylum shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you get reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. What happened to, "Please don't block me. I realize my actions may have been hasty, and I will strive to never edit war again, under any circumstances"? --NeilN talk to me 04:22, 1 September 2015 (UTC)

Arrow

List of Arrow episodes is being listed under Category:Articles using Template:Episode table with invalid colour combination because the colour #40826D is far from compliant. Check here for the colour as a background with white text (Contrast Ratio = 4.53, WCAG 2 AAA Compliant = NO). Check here for the colour as a background with black text (Contrast Ratio = 4.63, WCAG 2 AAA Compliant = NO). Contrast ratios must be at least 7. Alex|The|Whovian 02:47, 4 September 2015 (UTC)

@AlexTheWhovian: Thanks for the explain, but I still don't understand. AAA is recommended, but not demanded. LLArrow (talk) 02:52, 4 September 2015 (UTC)
Not demanded, correct, but should be used whenever possible - this is probably one of those cases. We're attempting to keep the above category (and the ones on my page) empty. Alex|The|Whovian 02:56, 4 September 2015 (UTC)
@AlexTheWhovian: Okay, I found a compliant colour that matches the new official art better. Thanks again for being so helpful/knowledgeable. LLArrow (talk) 03:00, 4 September 2015 (UTC)

Scream Queens-related

When it comes to the upcoming TV series Scream Queens, what do you have against the recent additions I made? The trailers have been showing that the murders are being committed by someone wearing the costume of the college mascot the Red Devil. There should at least be a mentioning of that in the plot either way. Just letting you know that. --Rtkat3 (talk) 19:30, 7 September 2015 (UTC)

September 2015

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on American Horror Story: Hotel. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Please be particularly aware that Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made.
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. CambridgeBayWeather, Uqaqtuq (talk), Sunasuttuq 06:26, 11 September 2015 (UTC)

Scream Queens

Changing and reverting my addition was incredibly unnecessary. WP:PSTS states that any interpretation of primary source material requires a reliable secondary source for that interpretation. You could have easily have added Ryan Murphy's tweet citation before my citation to abide by this but that apparently did not meet your personal preferences. Also, regarding your comment about my apparent improper grammar, what was apparently improper? As far as I can tell there was nothing wrong with it. Thanks. Brocicle (talk) 02:29, 13 September 2015 (UTC)

@Brocicle: Your addition, "On September 11, Entertainment Weekly reported that director Ryan Murphy had announced that Patrick Schwarzenegger has joined the cast.", failed to italicize a news magazine, placed a statement within a statement, and mixed past and present tenses. Your comment at WP:RFPP

This is about American Horror Story: Hotel. It would be a nice gesture on your part if you would agree to take a break from editing this article until the premiere on October 7. If not, an admin may decide to issue full protection, which would stop all progress. I haven't looked into who is more likely to be right about the content dispute, you or the other party. Let me know if you'll agree to this. Thank you, EdJohnston (talk) 15:36, 16 September 2015 (UTC)

@EdJohnston: I'll agree to refrain from creative editing the article, yes. LLArrow (talk) 16:45, 16 September 2015 (UTC)
What does that mean? No edits at all? EdJohnston (talk) 16:50, 16 September 2015 (UTC)
@EdJohnston: After seeing your comment on the board, I resend my offer. An administrator does need to take a closer examination into the matter, because only disciplining me is completely unfair and erroneous. IndianBio is one of the most vial editors I have come into contact with. A quick peruse of their Talk page and edit history will prove eye-opening. AHS Poster

Hello, I saw you uploaded the new official poster of AHS Hotel, but that is a very LQ image. I would recommend you to update that image for a HQ one, which you can find here. Thank you. GagaNutellatalk 19:57, 22 September 2015 (UTC)

@GagaNutella: You must be new to uploading, or you would know that Wikipedia recommends low quality images over high quality. The lower the better. Thanks for the interest though. LLArrow (talk) 20:32, 22 September 2015 (UTC)
I didn't know that. I actually will never understand Wiki's image policy, this is one of the few things I hate here. Anyway, sorry. GagaNutellatalk 21:36, 22 September 2015 (UTC)
LLArrow, I think 600x600 is still a bigger size for the NFCC content. However, problem is if we reduce the image further, we actually can't see anything :( Let us brush it through the noticeboard to decide whether we can include it or not. I will leave a note with J Milburn for the image. —Indian:BIO [ ChitChat ] 06:59, 23 September 2015 (UTC)
LLArrow, see here for J Milburn's response on the image. I request your opinion also before deciding what to do with the image. —Indian:BIO [ ChitChat ] 07:35, 24 September 2015 (UTC)
@IndianBio: If J Milburn believes it doesn't meet the rationale standards, it should probably be removed. It can't be moved to the season art/infobox because it isn't the DVD art, the current image is; so I see no other option. LLArrow (talk) 16:39, 24 September 2015 (UTC)
Hmmm, I really want to keep that image though :( Alas. You can Db-author the image if you please? —Indian:BIO [ ChitChat ] 16:41, 24 September 2015 (UTC)

Incorrect revert

Hi LLArrow, you reverted this edit on Scream Queens concerning the use of the editor parameter from the {{Infobox television}} template. The template documentation is very clear: "Content editor or editors of a current affairs/political show. Not film editors." As Scream Queens is not a new/political show, this parameter is not to be used, an was erroneously used for film editors. –Dark Cocoa Frosting (talk) 17:08, 29 September 2015 (UTC)

@Dark Cocoa Frosting: Well then every TV series article I've ever contributed to is in error. They all have editors listed. LLArrow (talk) 17:13, 29 September 2015 (UTC)
I do believe you that other stuff exists, but it sounds like you choose to ignore what {{Infobox television}} says. I invite you to read it, it is quite unambiguous. –Dark Cocoa Frosting (talk) 17:24, 29 September 2015 (UTC)
@Dark Cocoa Frosting: Look, I'm no idealist, I was simply following a train of logic that has been imbued in me. I'll revert, I'm saying you've got a lot of work ahead of you, because you are the only one who is leading this crusade. LLArrow (talk) 18:41, 29 September 2015 (UTC)

Scream Queens Talk/Reply

[2] It was not meant to be indented. It was a new comment, not a reply or whatever. Please don't make assumptions when you had not asked. Callmemirela 🍁 {Talk} 23:38, 9 October 2015 (UTC)

@Callmemirela: You do not make a statement within a discussion, you make a subcategory or a new category altogether. It really is quite a pity, I used to enjoy collaborating with you on this article, but after your disparaging comment about movies being far superior to television, I have just lost all semblance of respect for you as an impartial editor. Such is life I suppose. LLArrow (talk) 23:47, 9 October 2015 (UTC)
It's just how I view things. It's my opinion. I respect yours based on the quotations even though I don't agree. I don't exactly need for you to have respect for me, even though it's over something so silly. If I believe TV shows are inferior to TV shows, so be it. It's done and it's how I perceive entertainment. Secondly, I know when to indent, so please, next time, leave the indentation to the editor. It's not your job and it never was. There are reasons as to why it was never done. It is what it is. Goodbye, old friend. (*shrugs*) PS: The quotations look better now. Callmemirela 🍁 {Talk} 23:53, 9 October 2015 (UTC)
@Callmemirela:I could care less about peoples opinions, it's when that viewpoint sways editorial decision making that it becomes egregious, which you did. As for the commenting incident, I can see you are not going to accept that you were slightly in the wrong, so I'll leave it alone. Let's not let petulance come between future collaborations. Just because editors have disagreements, is does not mean the end of the editorial relationship. LLArrow (talk) 00:55, 10 October 2015 (UTC)
I was going to write that exact last sentence, but I didn't want to take over your notifications. And for the indentation, I am right. But I am letting it all go, as well. See you on the talk page once the discussion escalates. Callmemirela 🍁 {Talk} 01:01, 10 October 2015 (UTC)
@Callmemirela: I hope you're not implying that you intend to "escalate" the discussion. Furthermore, I am done with that debate. My time would be better spent hammering nails into my skull. LLArrow (talk) 01:08, 10 October 2015 (UTC)

AHS: Hotel / Ratings

Where should we add this? GagaNutellatalk 01:36, 13 October 2015 (UTC)

I know the feeling lol yes, it was the best premiere episode ever!!! Gaga was just amazing. This season is about to become my favorite. At the moment, my favorite is Asylum. GagaNutellatalk 04:00, 13 October 2015 (UTC)
@GagaNutella: Wow, Asylum is my fav as well! An incredible season, full of great acting, writing, directing. This premiere had the same, Gaga, Paulson, Bates, Bomer all brought it! Ryan did a fantastic job directing too. My faves are 1: Asylum, 2: Murder House, 3: Coven, and Freak Show way last haha. LLArrow (talk) 04:08, 13 October 2015 (UTC)
They were all amazing, and Ryan is genius, I love him. My list would be 1: Asylum, 2: Freak Show, 3: Murder House and 4: Coven. Don't get me wrong, I love Coven, Bates and Lange were great in this season, but I think it was too slowly. I might sound freak lmao but Freak Show was wonderful, everything was perfect. GagaNutellatalk 04:32, 13 October 2015 (UTC)

Well it's always good to see what other people appreciated about other seasons. Love Lange too. LLArrow (talk) 05:29, 13 October 2015 (UTC)

Scream Queens

I wasn't vandalizing the page. The problem I saw was that the Casting section added no real information of note. See also: Wikipedia: Recentism: In ten years that kind of information will be irrelelevent. Wikipedia is not a news site and I don't consider when certain actors were added to be encyclopedic. --Deathawk (talk) 06:38, 2 November 2015 (UTC)

@Deathawk: It's absolutely absurd to completely wipe the section, that is in nearly every single series article. If anything in needs expansion. You never even think about making such a substantial change on an article before gaining consensus on the Talk page. Please, edit with less nonsensical decision making. LLArrow (talk) 07:42, 2 November 2015 (UTC)

Hotel

Saw the four episodes all together. Its awesome, Paulson really steals the show, something tells me The Countess is Mr March's wife. What do you think? The only lame thing about the whole season is still Detective Lowe, waste of a character I feel. Also LLArrow, the cast images which we placed is pushing the two subsequent sections wide apart on widescreens monitors. This is because we normally have 3x 3 image placements and for the first time in Hotel we are placing a 4x 3 images, 4 rows in total. I believe we should interchange it and make it 3x 4. What do you say? —Indian:BIO [ ChitChat ] 13:59, 2 November 2015 (UTC)

@IndianBio: Yes I think your suggestion for the images should work, if you want to implement it and try it out, we can go from there. I agree Paulson is mesmerizing this year, she hasn't been this on point since Asylum. We'll have to see if your March/Countess theory is proven true, it's definitely a possibility. I kinda like Lowe, reminds me of a real life Nightmare Before Christmas character haha. I also love the work O'Hare, Gaga, Peters, Winningham, and the directors are doing this year. No episode has been able to top "Checking In" though for me. What's your favorite? LLArrow (talk) 18:31, 2 November 2015 (UTC)

Replaceable fair use File:Wendy Mericle, 2015 San Diego Comic-Con.jpg

Thanks for uploading File:Wendy Mericle, 2015 San Diego Comic-Con.jpg. I noticed that this file is being used under a claim of fair use. However, I think that the way it is being used fails the first non-free content criterion. This criterion states that files used under claims of fair use may have no free equivalent; in other words, if the file could be adequately covered by a freely-licensed file or by text alone, then it may not be used on Wikipedia. If you believe this file is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the file description page and add the text {{di-replaceable fair use disputed|<your reason>}} below the original replaceable fair use template, replacing <your reason> with a short explanation of why the file is not replaceable.
  2. On the file discussion page, write a full explanation of why you believe the file is not replaceable.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media item by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by creating new media yourself (for example, by taking your own photograph of the subject).

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these media fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per the non-free content policy. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. (ESkog)(Talk) 03:44, 12 November 2015 (UTC)

You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Once Upon a Time season articles

@LLArrow: Hi. I added the split season template to OUAT season 3, 4 and 5 as it has been stated on numerous occasions by the writers and official media that every season since season 3 is split definitively into two parts each consisting of eleven episodes. This split allows the writers to dramatically change the story of the season and introduce a new overarching plot (e.g. Season 4A: Frozen, Season 4B: Queens of Darkness), with each half concluded with either a mid-season/winter finale episode or an end-season finale episode. Below are just three written sources that directly quote executive producers and creators Adam and Eddy. Media also refers to the split seasons as Season xA/xB (e.g. here and here).

  • IB Times: "'The hundredth episode for us — and the second half of the [fifth] season' ... Kitsis said."; "promotional video for the second half of Season 5"; "Milah ... will be reappearing in the second half of the season"
  • Hollywood Reporter: "The second half of the season ... says executive producer Eddy Kitsis"; "'We will see [Henry's] book. It will come into play in the second half of the season' Kitsis said"
  • Entertainment Weekly: "For two years now, Once Upon a Time has adhered to the same formula: bifurcated seasons, with each half focused on taking down a new baddie (or three). By the final episode of every arc, that villain has been soundly defeated, making room for the next one to enter the picture—preferably via a teaser that comes at the end of that episode."

The episode table widths are necessary and encoraged. If we don't set widths, then the column widths for each season can be different, and you can have some columns much narrower than they should be, especially at lower resolutions. See, for example, List of Arthur episodes. Column widths vary from season to season and, at 1280px, season 2, episode 1 wraps "Eric Bergeron and Gerry Capelle" onto two lines. Setting widths ensures consistency throughout the page and allows you to optimise column widths so that wrapping doesn't happen. This is necessary if you ever hope to get a page to even GA status. — Artmanha (talk) 01:07, 5 March 2016 (UTC)

@Artmanha: I'm afraid you are in error. Column widths are encouraged to be differentiated season to season as to create a more fluid juxtaposition. If you do a quick perusal throughout Wikipedia you'll find that more Episode List articles are unbound by column limits than not. Please, if you take issue with this fact, take it to the House of Cards episode list Talk page and gain a consensus. Thank you, LLArrow (talk) 01:15, 5 March 2016 (UTC)
I'm afraid you are the one in error. The Episode List articles who use them different for each season are only due to the fact that the information would break in more lines if they have the same width for all seasons. And your argument of If you do a quick perusal throughout Wikipedia you'll find that more Episode List articles are unbound by column limits than not is simply invalid. And even if that was the case, it is much more beneficial to have them than not, specially for users with lower resolution screens. — Artmanha (talk) 01:24, 5 March 2016 (UTC)
@Artmanha: Well now that petulance is in play, I'll keep this short and sweet. Wikipedia does not cater to any one person's personal view. As I've said before, you want change, it's implemented through the democratic process of consensus. LLArrow (talk) 02:01, 5 March 2016 (UTC)
Petulance?! Not on my behalf. Well, if you want to do this through the democratic process of consensus, then the burden of trying to reach it is on you as per WP:STATUSQUO, WP:BOLD. Notice that the status quo was with the set widths, that said I'll be reverting you and you should not undo the changes before you reach a consensus as per WP:3RR. Thank you — Artmanha (talk) 11:09, 5 March 2016 (UTC)

Once Upon a Time (season 4)

Perhaps instead of summarizing the revert of an editor's accidental edit with "Re-adding blatantly removed factual info. Please never do so again", you should check to see if it was accidental in the first place - which it was. When merging the two episodes, I didn't notice that they had different directors, hence why I accidentally deleted Part 2's director. Now I see why people find you so hard to work with. Alex|The|Whovian? 22:34, 12 March 2016 (UTC)

@AlexTheWhovian: Wow, somebody is overly sensitive. A director of an episode just being blindly removed is grounds for my harsh condemnation. I guess some people just can't face up to being wrong. I didn't attack anybody, I didn't call anyone a name, I simply course corrected a substantial error in attention. Maybe you should learn to stifle your knee-jerk reactions, in favour of absorbing some constructive criticism. LLArrow (talk) 07:14, 13 March 2016 (UTC)
It wasn't blindly removed. It was accidental. You stated that it was "blatantly removed" and asked me to never make an accidental mistake again. Difference. Alex|The|Whovian? 07:18, 13 March 2016 (UTC)

For asking another use to proxy for you while blocked. OhNoitsJamie Talk 03:42, 24 April 2016 (UTC)
@Ohnoitsjamie: With respect that is a bold-faced lie. I never asked Leftover101 to proxy for me. Do I know the user? Yes. Do we share a common mind about many subjects and articles? Yes. However, I never flat out asked them to act as my proxy while I'm blocked. I haven't a clue as to why they would say that. I don't understand, is this how this process works? One editor, speaking on their own volition, can condemn another to hell without involving said punished party? Why wasn't I brought into this discussion before action was taken against me? Why am I deemed guilty before a trial? This system seems acutely wonky to me. LLArrow (talk) 04:28, 24 April 2016 (UTC)

Decline reason:

It does appear that you asked someone else to do something for you here while blocked. This is problematic in that it is a form of block evasion. It is also considered meat puppetry which consists of bringing like-minded editors into the dispute. Even when done in the open and while not blocked this is not allowed. This is unreal. What sort of democracy is this? Whatever happened to innocent until proven guilty? You can't just scuttle a bunch half facts together and condemn me. I never, ever asked anyone to proxy for me and I never attempted to "puppet a sock". Our editing history look's similar because Leftover101 was told about my block, and felt that they should take on a more substantial role in my absence. However, again, I never asked the editor to submit my opinion or do anything for me. Their actions are theirs, and theirs alone. I ask that you please reconsider this injustice, or at the least provide me with some sort of alternative. You can't just leave me hanging like this... LLArrow (talk) 04:55, 27 April 2016 (UTC)

I am curious how we went from "I never, ever asked anyone to proxy for me and I never attempted to "puppet a sock"" to "I have learned from my mistake". Was your mistake pretending to be two people, or was it meat puppetry? Was it something else? HighInBC 00:47, 5 May 2016 (UTC)
@HighInBC: That's completely misconstruing my thought. I'm not admitting to any false claims, I'm speaking to my first and only crime, edit warring. @Huon: I have learned to not engage in a hostile manor with any editors, no matter what the case may be; to refrain from edit warring at all costs, and to actually consider others opinion, rather than just dismissing it. I will only contribute worthy editions that are informative and fact derived. LLArrow (talk) 00:06, 6 May 2016 (UTC)

@HighInBC: A little taken aback by this sentiment considering I've done so numerous times above. LLArrow (talk) 04:36, 6 May 2016 (UTC)

My point was that your unblock request should address the reason for your current block, rather than your previous block. Stop icon

Your recent editing history at List of The Americans episodes shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted.

I would be very careful about suggesting others are edit warring. You've been reverted by two editors, provided no edit summary for your change, and made a change that is not compliant with AAA criteria for color and contrast. The DVD cover's color is not a valid reason to change an AAA complaint coloration that has been in place for some time. --Drmargi (talk) 18:20, 26 May 2016 (UTC)

If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by first reading the guide to appealing blocks, then adding the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.

During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection.  HighInBC 03:11, 8 May 2016 (UTC)

Final warning about edit warring

You have been edit warring and not listening to other editors for a while now. You have had 1 week blocks, 2 week blocks. At a certain point the blocks are going to start getting a lot longer. I am asking you to not attempt to resolve your disputes through stubborn reverting, I am asking you to accept the community standards for when we document something.

If this warning is not successful in preventing you from edit warring then blocking is the only option left. HighInBC 01:27, 27 May 2016 (UTC)

Maybe you should use the talk page, to explain your reasoning for altering the color of the infobox. Clearly, reverting isn't magically changing anyone's mind. - Jack Sebastian (talk) 07:00, 27 May 2016 (UTC)

American Horror Story (season 6) missguided

Hey, You reverted my addition to the https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/American_Horror_Story and mentioned that my edit should be on the season 6 page at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/American_Horror_Story_(season_6) That's fine and I appreciate you letting me know, but then you dumped my edit on season 6 with a snarky comment. I did read the article and when you read that first paragraph alone I felt it need a little more information, especially when some of that paragraph is taken as a Google Answer Box when people search for the plot. That was why I made the edit. What was wrong with that? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Tflash2612 (talkcontribs) 18:16, 8 August 2016 (UTC)

@Tflash2612: Hi, you're new to Wikipedia so I'll try not to be too hard on you. First off, there was nothing "snarky" about my comment, it was a valid, sincere query, to a head scratching addition. You obviously are not familiar with the protocols of Wikipedia yet, so allow me to inform you. I recommend a thorough read through of WP:LEAD; which will explain that only pertinent info, without citations are to be placed in the lead. The info concerning "Croatoan" is not pertinent to the overall article until the word is actually confirmed to be officially remarkable, by the network or airing of the actual series. The "Croatoan" information is spread throughout the article, in it's rightful and proper locations. Also, please remember to sign your comments, using four tildes at the conclusion of your words. Thank you and have a pleasant day. LLArrow (talk) 18:35, 8 August 2016 (UTC)
@LLArrow: That is actually helpful. I had actually wondered about citations in leads, but saw it in several other locations so thought it was OK. If your edit would have mentioned that originally, I wouldn't have called you snarky. I would still argue "Croatoan" in the lead is important since that is what has lead everyone to believe season 6 is related to Roanoke. I've actually been on Wikipedia for several years, but have been dormant for a few years. I'll reread the rules since it's been awhile. Trying the tildes thing. I am new to talk Tflash2612 (talk) 18:48, 8 August 2016 (UTC)
@Tflash2612: I appreciate your attitude toward the situation. However, "Croatoan" is merely a matter of circumstance, that bears mentioning in the article, just not yet in the lead. If the network deems the word significant (i.e. mentioning it in a press release, or featuring it in a teaser) of the word, then it might be worth a mention in the lead, depending on the context. It's just a "wait and see" situation as of now. I understand it's frustrating. As a huge fan of the series, I'm also chomping at the bit to devour any and every little morsel of info that grinds out of the ever churning rumour mill, but we must exercise restraint when it comes to leaks of "info". LLArrow (talk) 18:58, 8 August 2016 (UTC)
@LLArrow: No worries. I did check the rules. It appears citations are ok in the lead, but I understand the edit. Thanks. Tflash2612 (talk) 19:10, 8 August 2016 (UTC)

I appreciate you updating the cover arts, but can you also make sure you upload low resolution versions? Your uploads continue to fail WP:NFCC#3b. Also please add a direct source to the uploads, and not just saying they are from FX. —IB [ Poke ] 09:08, 13 August 2016 (UTC)

Update, I tried to find that art, having no luck :(. Which website did you get it from? —IB [ Poke ] 09:14, 13 August 2016 (UTC)
@IndianBio: The official series Twitter page. If I could upload a lower resolution I would. That's what bots are for. LLArrow (talk) 19:14, 13 August 2016 (UTC)
You should never rely on bots. What if it breaks down? It's easy to make an image smaller in MS Paint. Alex|The|Whovian? 08:07, 14 August 2016 (UTC)

AHS season box

First of all, I'm not making disruptive edits, I just feel having the numbers by the subtitle is useless. Just extra information that doesn't need to be there because it states ( in the individual episode tap below) what number the season is. Sorry about adding season with 6. I understand, but I don't agree, as for, the number being listed aside the subtitle in the info box. Changeisgame (talk) 06:34, 19 August 2016 (UTC)

(talk page stalker) I'm thinking of inserting an auxiliary parameter between Season and Episodes, so that the season numbers have their own cell, with the season names in their own adjacent cell as well. Works out for both, no? Alex|The|Whovian? 08:11, 19 August 2016 (UTC)
AlexTheWhovian please do not stalk my talk page. I don't appreciate being undermined at every turn. Please engage with other users on their own Talk page. LLArrow (talk) 08:14, 19 August 2016 (UTC)
I have it on my watchlist, and the discussion was here, not there. I'll respect your wishes about ending the discussion here, though. (Also, it's {{ping|AlexTheWhovian}} and not [[ping|AlexTheWhovian]], else you're just linking to ping. Just a heads up.) Alex|The|Whovian? 08:19, 19 August 2016 (UTC)

@AlexTheWhovian: Thanks, just a minor oversight, I'm not stupid, just tired. And when it comes to inserting yourself into a discussion, you shouldn't go mulling around on involved users Talk pages, you should start a dialogue on the Watchlist article's. I don't want to be having any discussion about this ridiculous claim. I really do wish you would have stepped up to the plate and started a discussion on the List Talk page given the fact you were the initial instigator of the subject at hand. I thought the move was beneficial and overlooked, that's why I'm currently fighting this adverse opinion. In the future, I'd just really appreciate some space and protocol. LLArrow (talk) 08:32, 19 August 2016 (UTC)

I mean, if I need to start a discussion, I will. And per WP:TPS, a TPS is one who answers or adds input to threads in which the stalker is not directly involved. This page was on my watchlist. Changeisgame posted. I knew something that was related. I added it. Nothing out of protocol. Alex|The|Whovian? 08:35, 19 August 2016 (UTC)
@AlexTheWhovian: Are you freaking kidding me?! I just saw you reverted my edit, that was really your original edit, and are now acting as if it were my battle all along... I'm literally speechless... LLArrow (talk) 08:37, 19 August 2016 (UTC)
Your opinion is noted. Alex|The|Whovian? 08:38, 19 August 2016 (UTC)
@AlexTheWhovian: My opinion is noted?! Wow, gee thanks, I feel so incredibly validated now. You can keep your validation, I want a detailed explanation as to why you've done a complete 180 only now that I show interest in the same POV??? It would almost lead one to jump to the conclusion that there exist some sort of grudge or bias against said user. LLArrow (talk) 08:45, 19 August 2016 (UTC)
Please do not personally attack editors by accusing them of editing with grudge or bias. Editors are far more professional than that. And opinions change. All I originally did was add the subtitles. The other editor removed the season numbers, and I saw nothing wrong with that. And no need to ping me; your page is on my watchlist. Alex|The|Whovian? 08:49, 19 August 2016 (UTC)
Don't play high-and-mighty with me, I've witnessed you get down in the muck and the grime before, you're no saintly editor. Accusing you of holding a grudge or bias against me is mild, as opposed to what I should be calling you out on, which I should. You're attempting to undermine me at every turn, and it does not go unnoticed. You want to have me on your Watchlist, you wanna stick to your "The Good Editor" persona, you go right ahead, you and I both know what you're really doing, and I, for one, won't forget. Goodnight, LLArrow (talk) 08:55, 19 August 2016 (UTC)
Goodnight, sleep well! Alex|The|Whovian? 08:58, 19 August 2016 (UTC)

Colton Haynes

Hello, could you please explain what to do you mean by "Too many unfree images for article size"? The image I've added has all required copyrights. I don't think it may harm someone to have one more good image of Colton in the article. Arthistorian1977 (talk) 21:14, 5 September 2016 (UTC)

@Arthistorian1977: It's an issue considering the size of his article. If it were the size of, say, Lady Gaga's then it would be acceptable, but with two images already present, a third would be a crowd in this particular case. LLArrow (talk) 22:36, 5 September 2016 (UTC)

POI season colors

Hey LLArrow, I noticed you changed the season colors to represent the DVDs. The problem is that all the covers basically look the same, there's no distinct color theme to any of them; they're all just dark blue/black/greyish. Picking a "prominent" color seems to be quite arbitrary here. For example, the colors for season 1 and 3 look basically the same. My suggestions would be using a pure black for season 1, dark grey/blue for season 2, and yellow for season 3, while season 4 and 5 look fine. Thoughts? Drovethrughosts (talk) 13:03, 6 September 2016 (UTC)

@Drovethrughosts: Yeah, if you feel they're not different enough as is, you can implement your suggestion. I tried my best to pull the most significant colour from the case of each season and they all meet contrast regulation. But as I said, you can adjust if you believe they're not contrasting enough. LLArrow (talk) 19:08, 6 September 2016 (UTC)

Funny observation

Hehe, LLArrow, I just noticed here Alex's page where you called yourself a certain word, and denoted the 'S' as '$'. I found it incredibly funny haha. —IB [ Poke ] 11:35, 7 September 2016 (UTC)

AHS: Roanoke title

Hello, I'm just here giving you information about the title for this season. On Facebook, twitter, Instagram, Youtube, and even FX official AHS page, all have updated there profile to a photo AHS: Roanoke. Here is a link http://www.fxnetworks.com/shows/american-horror-story/episodes Again, this is the official subtitle. My Roanoke Nightmare is just the title for the documentary show not the entire season. Also, it doesn't serve as informational purpose, for it states that the show is presented as a documentary show down in the plot section. It just it unnecessary and incorrect. Stop icon

Your recent editing history at American Horror Story: Roanoke shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted.

Chase (talk) 04:13, 26 September 2016 (UTC)

Stop icon with clock
You have been blocked from editing for a period of 1 month for edit warring, as you did at American Horror Story: Roanoke. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.

Callanecc (talkcontribslogs) 05:05, 26 September 2016 (UTC)

Request reason:

I respectfully ask that this block be reconsidered. I realize my behavior got out of hand, and I will refrain from reverting the article in question.

Decline reason:

This is your sixth block for edit warring. Can you please explain, if you are unblocked, how you'll make sure you never, ever engage in edit warring ever again? Given that you have been repeatedly warned and repeatedly blocked, we need to be absolutely sure that, this time, you have got the message and made a meaningful change. Yamla (talk) 12:47, 26 September 2016 (UTC)

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who accepted the request.

LLArrow (block logactive blocksglobal blockscontribsdeleted contribsfilter logcreation logchange block settingsunblockcheckuser (log))

Request reason:

@Yamla: I realize that I can get carried away with editing and pushing my view/agenda. I now know the signs to look for when I'm being to forthright and bullheaded, and when I need to step away. After reverting once or twice, I'll will take all grievances to the Talk page and discuss that at length in order to achieve consensus and hear others viewpoint. I'd really appreciate another chance to prove myself as a helpful, gainful contributor to this site. Thank you.

Accept reason:

Per discussion below: commitment not to repeat edit warring and understanding that further edit warring will result in an indefinite block and that an unblock in that case will not be as forthcoming. Callanecc (talkcontribslogs) 00:04, 27 September 2016 (UTC)

@Callanecc:, I'll leave it to you to review the user's unblock request. There's a long history of edit-warring here, but the user appears to be attempting to make meaningful change this time around. This may be an opportunity to consider an unblock, with the warning that the next case of edit-warring may lead to an indefinite block. --Yamla (talk) 23:34, 26 September 2016 (UTC)

Thanks Yamla. LLArrow, I am willing to unblock you but you need be be aware (and I'd like you to confirm below that you do understand this before I unblock) that any further edit warring is going to result in an indefinite block. Due to your history and unblock won't happy quickly and would likely come with a restriction (such as WP:1RR). When the current block ends I strongly encourage you to voluntarily abide by a one revert per page per 24 hours rule to ensure that you don't get sucked into another edit war. Callanecc (talkcontribslogs) 23:44, 26 September 2016 (UTC)
Callanecc I understand the terms laid out here, and find them completely agreeable. I appreciate the reconsideration. LLArrow (talk) 23:58, 26 September 2016 (UTC)
AgreedsAgrees to 1RR, and then two reverts in 24 hours. Interesting. Alex|The|Whovian? 22:18, 27 September 2016 (UTC)
Callanecc; Also, here and here. Chase (talk) 22:26, 27 September 2016 (UTC)
AlexTheWhovian "Agreeds"? Is that English? You'll have to forgive me, I'm not bilingual dear. LLArrow (talk) 22:24, 27 September 2016 (UTC)

I agreed not to edit war any further, which I have not. However, I will not sit idly by while atrocities are committed either. LLArrow (talk) 22:28, 27 September 2016 (UTC)

You agreed against 1RR. When the current block ends I strongly encourage you to voluntarily abide by a one revert per page per 24 hours rule, then I understand the terms laid out here, and find them completely agreeable. But hey, up to you, friend! Get as awfully friendly with that revert button as you like. :) Alex|The|Whovian? 22:30, 27 September 2016 (UTC)
A simple misinterpretation of words. I vowed never to edit war again, I shant. Thanks for keeping me honest. You are just such a little blessing. I'd tag you, but... I know you're watching ;). LLArrow (talk) 22:37, 27 September 2016 (UTC)
I'm watching you, Wazowski. Always watching. Alex|The|Whovian? 22:39, 27 September 2016 (UTC)

Shameless

Time to move on. Callanecc (talkcontribslogs) 02:48, 29 September 2016 (UTC)

Please do not revert the edits on the Shameless season articles. They were edits to conform the column widths in the episode tables for the List of Episodes article, removing the violations of MOS:BOLD in the lead (I know you're a favourite of policies and guidelines), updating the infobox to use the new and correct parameters rather than old, outdated ones and outdated file names, and add the {{main}} template in the case of one season. Thank you. Alex|The|Whovian? 07:45, 27 September 2016 (UTC)

They were edits to conform the column widths in the episode tables for the List of Episodes article [...] And now you'll explain why you remove them, and on the Scream Queens articles as well. Alex|The|Whovian? 02:18, 29 September 2016 (UTC)
I can't count on fingers and toes how many times I've discussed why I hate column widths, and I don't care to do so again. You're such a good researcher, why not exercise your strength?. LLArrow (talk) 02:26, 29 September 2016 (UTC)
Why not exercise your strength as to how to learn to follow consensus? Alex|The|Whovian? 02:27, 29 September 2016 (UTC)
I never thought of that Alex! You are so smar... wait. We're talking about pages that barely get any traffic whatsoever, and the people that do stop by could give two rats @$$es about "column widths", making it practically impossible for a discussion to get a foothold, muchless a consensus. Hmmm, no I think I've got the right idea already. Thanks for your wise, not condensing in any way, words. LLArrow (talk) 02:37, 29 September 2016 (UTC)
I'm talking television-project-wide consensus. But you already know that. Alex|The|Whovian? 02:40, 29 September 2016 (UTC)

Might I remind you...

Time to move on. Callanecc (talkcontribslogs) 02:48, 29 September 2016 (UTC)

You are on a very short leash with your editing. While both this and this were not reverts, having a much better attitude while editing, and not being so WP:HOSTILE with your edit summaries will do you wonders. And as I said, we are all here to try and make the encyclopedia correct, factual and formatted to our guidelines. The edits in questions originated from content added by an IP, who may or may not be familiar with these things, so you shouldn't become upset for something like this. Be thankful they provided a reliable source at least. - Favre1fan93 (talk) 23:27, 28 September 2016 (UTC)

Favre1fan93 I am sick to $h!t of people reminding me about proper guidelines and rules on Wikipedia. I am well aware. All I get treated like on here is crap, so guess what, a healthy dose of the decay will be swung right back. Editors/IP's (that claim to be "oh so ignorant concerning protocol", when they have been told time and again) get away with absolute murder, and I'm not going to take it lying down. You conduct yourself however you please. Not only are you preaching to the wrong choir, you're preaching at the wrong church. I'll thank you to kindly leave me be. LLArrow (talk) 23:36, 28 September 2016 (UTC)
@Favre1fan93 and AlexTheWhovian: LLArrow is very well aware of their unblock conditions and does not need to be constantly reminded of them, thank you. Callanecc (talkcontribslogs) 00:43, 29 September 2016 (UTC)
@Callanecc: We are not constantly reminding the editor, we are attempting to get the editor to be a civil member of this community. And they may be well aware of the conditions, which, though they deny it, they already broke. Alex|The|Whovian? 00:45, 29 September 2016 (UTC)
The 1RR was a suggestion not a condition of the unblock so there is no need to remind them of that nor to post messages here everyday about it. If LLArrow does not abide by the no edit warring restriction then they'll be quickly reblocked without requiring regular messages on their talk page. Callanecc (talkcontribslogs) 00:57, 29 September 2016 (UTC)
@Callanecc: You are spot on, specifically about "AlexTheWhovian". They have been an absolute psychological torment to me and my psyche. I truly believe they were placed on earth to make it hell for me. We used to get along swimmingly until one day they just snapped. They have been in plenty-a hot water in the past for the exact same trespasses that they crucify me for. It's truly unreal. If I didn't have a life, I would've reported them long ago. This isn't me trying to absolve my sins (lord knows I'm guilty as charged in many cases), but I do try my damnedest to remain productive, despite constant harassment and degradation. Furthermore, I did not deny I broke any conditional agreement, I pointed out that the agreement was misinterpreted, which it was. Despite all, I'm ever so thankful for your intervention and your reassessing prowess. I can't tell you how much it means to me. LLArrow (talk) 01:10, 29 September 2016 (UTC)
And now we're onto personal attacks and an "It's all their fault" mentality. Absolutely spiffing. Alex|The|Whovian? 01:14, 29 September 2016 (UTC)
No personal attack here Alex, just a cry out for relief from your oppressive thumb. I don't know you personally nor do I claim to; I only know you as an editor, and you're one of the tyrannical variety. LLArrow (talk) 01:21, 29 September 2016 (UTC)
I truly believe they were placed on earth to make it hell for me. Sure, none at all, and in the next paragraph, you claim to not know my personally. Clashes there a bit. And tyranny is objective to when one doesn't agree with another, when the latter knows how to follow guidelines, policies, how to discuss, not curse at other unsuspecting editors in their edit summaries, follow consensuses, etc, etc... Alex|The|Whovian? 01:24, 29 September 2016 (UTC)
1:I truly believe you as an editor were sent to make my editorial life a living hell. No "clash" whatsoever, except in your imagination apparently. I never said your were a tyrant for disagreeing with me, but rather due to your incessant "disciplination" of me after making mistakes. Not to mention the constant bombardment/stalking into my discussions and dealings, where you are not wanted (and before you climb up on your enormously high horse, I'm well aware that you are allowed to barge in on my dealings and discussions, that doesn't make it any less nauseating). 3: I clearly know how to follow guidelines and policies, how often I choose to do so is one of my faults that I've been nothing but honest about, I am usually the first editor to take a disagreement to the Talk page to discuss/work toward a consensus, and I do not curse in my summaries no matter who they are directed towards, and I defy you to conjure up proof ("WTF?" doesn't count, i.e. "What the Fork?"). Just another classic example of you attempting to placate your way out of deep, dark water. LLArrow (talk) 02:18, 29 September 2016 (UTC)
For goodness sake, both of you need to knock it off. Get rid of the theatrics and comments on each other and go back to editing articles (different ones if need be). But you both need to stop this. Callanecc (talkcontribslogs) 01:30, 29 September 2016 (UTC)
Agreed! I'd love to edit with editors who share the same views of contributing to make this a place of knowledge. Alex|The|Whovian? 01:34, 29 September 2016 (UTC)
@Callanecc: The only theatrics being employed by me are that of reality. I'm really disappointed. You, like many that have come before, have failed to see through this editor. You wield extreme power, I pray that you do your due diligence in this situation and come through it with clearer eyes. LLArrow (talk) 02:18, 29 September 2016 (UTC)
Agreed. Six blocks for edit warring, when the previous unblocks requests were exactly the same. How transparent. Alex|The|Whovian? 02:25, 29 September 2016 (UTC)
I'd go through your long, and storied list of misdeeds, but I don't have a half century or care enough to bother. There isn't a day that goes by that I don't hope you're vanquished from my editorial life. I think I see a glimmer of hope, 'rounding the corner. It's either hope or hyperbole, one. LLArrow (talk) 02:33, 29 September 2016 (UTC)
"My long"? Is that English? You'll have to forgive me, I'm not bilingual dear. Alex|The|Whovian? 02:34, 29 September 2016 (UTC)

Stop now

Stop now, the next inflammatory comment or personal attack will likely get you a block. If you can't interact civilly with each other than don't interact. Callanecc (talkcontribslogs) 02:44, 29 September 2016 (UTC)

@Callanecc: I'm sorry, but I refuse to let a bully be a bully. The second we back down, they win. Are you saying that I should just give up? Because I can guarantee this editor will not leave me alone. I feel like a cornered mouse, by a gigantic cat. The only thing I can fight back with are my words. Please don't threaten to strip my defense from me. LLArrow (talk) 02:48, 29 September 2016 (UTC)
If you 'fight back' with words you'll get blocked, if Alex 'fights back' they'll get a block. Leave it as it is and move on to the next article. Callanecc (talkcontribslogs) 02:50, 29 September 2016 (UTC)
@Callenecc: I don't understand. This quarrel does not stem from any one article, this is daily antagonism on both our parts, usually instigated by Alex's overlording ways. I'm lashing out because I'm so tired of the persistent badgering. There has got to be a more concrete solution, other than just slapping us both on the wrist and sending us to our rooms. I ask you to please prescribe a different prescription for this particular condition. LLArrow (talk) 02:58, 29 September 2016 (UTC)
Lashing out is going to get you blocked and has done exactly that. You need to be civil and respectful of others, instead of blocking you both I warned you that anything further would result in a block. And as you continued to make inflammatory comments you have been blocked. I will continue to monitor the situation, and will act as required. Callanecc (talkcontribslogs) 03:10, 29 September 2016 (UTC)
@Callenecc: I can't believe this. I am literally tearing my hear out by the roots from these constant attacks and you decide to throw me in jail. How was I making "inflammatory comments" in any way, shape, or form? I was merely asking for a greater and lasting solution to the problem. This is kicking a dead horse, to the extreme. I don't understand why you would do this. I feel utterly defeated by life right now, the last thing I need is this sort of unjust treatment. I plead that you reconsider. October 2016

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war.

This is in regards to the Homeland season articles; admins, please refer to the histories for these articles. Alex|The|Whovian? 11:47, 1 October 2016 (UTC)

I did not violate 3RR. LLArrow (talk) 21:03, 1 October 2016 (UTC)
I'm so sick of you stalking my editing. Leave me the f--- alone. I hope Callenecc is keeping an eye on this abuse. LLArrow (talk) 21:17, 1 October 2016 (UTC)
I agree with LLArrow in the fact they did not violate 3RR on the Homeland pages, however, they are engaged in an edit war on virtually every Homeland season article. I would advise AlexTheWhovian to not get involved too much with this editor regarding warnings and such, or it might seem like WP:Hounding. I know how great an editor you are and would hate to see you blocked for a technicality. The edit warring of this user will be noticed by someone, I would let them take care of it. Chase (talk) 21:28, 1 October 2016 (UTC)
@CCamp2013: Lord knows you and I have our spats, but I truly appreciate your reassuring words. LLArrow (talk) 21:59, 1 October 2016 (UTC)
All 3RR may be edit-warring but not all edit-warring is 3RR. And I never warned you for 3RR; they're two different templates. After reaching three reverts on each of six articles days ago, and after two bans, the editor in question continues to revert another editor. They accuse others of their opinionated edits, but that's exactly what they're doing when reverting edits concerning column widths. Callenecc, I unfortunately believe that the editor has no intention to cease edit-warring whatsoever. Which is unfortunate, given that they've had quite a lot of quality edits. Alex|The|Whovian? 00:34, 2 October 2016 (UTC)
Don't give me that Alex, you hate me and my editions to Wikipedia. You've had it out for me for whatever reason. I watch over many articles I can not keep long term track of reversions. I have vowed not to violate 3RR, which is what I have been blocked for in the past, and I will continue to not do so. LLArrow (talk) 00:38, 2 October 2016 (UTC)
Actually, I don't hate you. I think you have kept the AHS season articles in great shape; it's just your attitude that grinds me. And you vowed not to edit-war ("but you need be be aware [..] that any further edit warring is going to result in an indefinite block"), which is different to 3RR, but who am I to nitpick? Alex|The|Whovian? 00:44, 2 October 2016 (UTC)

Hate is the only motivational explanation for your incessant dogging of me all over this site. You are like a bloodhound, sniffing out my smallest and largest sins and exploiting them. I have no idea why you loathe me so, but I'm sorry for whatever I did to you. No matter what the outcome of it all. LLArrow (talk) 01:12, 2 October 2016 (UTC)

And I'm sorry to hear that you think editors are on a hate chase with you, when they're not. Perhaps soon you'll realize that. Alex|The|Whovian? 01:16, 2 October 2016 (UTC)
The only way I would know that editors are not out to get me is to somehow merge minds. Since the technology seems to be lacking, and I don't foresee being imparted with telepathy, I'm afraid I'm left with a suspicious mind. LLArrow (talk) 01:37, 2 October 2016 (UTC)

LLArrow and AlexTheWhovian; I plead with both of you to stop this discussion further before it leads to one or both getting blocked. I would hate that and don't want to see that. Chase (talk) 01:28, 2 October 2016 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for October 4

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Crystal Liu, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Lipstick Jungle. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Confused

I'm confused. You revert me for my "opinionated" edits (here it's just adjusting the title/writer columns). Then you revert me again, but this time, attempt to add your own adjustments without reasoning (here adjusting the title/director/writer/airdate columns), while saying "No reason to change width" in the same breath? I'm just not seeing the logic here. An elaboration would be greatly appreciated. Alex|The|Whovian? 09:29, 17 October 2016 (UTC)

Don't you see, it's only an "opinion", when it goes against my better judgment. LLArrow (talk) 21:15, 17 October 2016 (UTC)
So, you'd rather revert three times, and risk getting reported for edit-warring again (note: edit-warring, not 3RR), rather than discuss it in a civil manner. It's times like this where I like to pull out your quote. You still have not provided a sufficient explanation, and reverting similar edits by editors so that you can force your own is solidly past the line of article ownership. Alex|The|Whovian? 00:55, 18 October 2016 (UTC)
Whatever, do as you like. I'm exhausted. Tired of fighting a dictatorship. LLArrow (talk)
Ditto. Alex|The|Whovian? 01:34, 18 October 2016 (UTC)

List of Black Mirror episodes

Explain yourself, and your revert. You reverted multiple edits, including formatting (do you really believe that the starring column was better than having it in a summary row?), colours reflecting home media releases and promotional posts (you're a stickler for that yourself), expansion of the lead by including content about future seasons and the usage of {{Aired episodes}}, the fixing of violations of the overview table per WP:TVOVERVIEW and WP:TVUPCOMING, and the addition of tracking templates with {{Episode table}} (which is now held by a larger consensus to be the correct way to start an episode table, and also allowed the reference in the Series 2 header to even be seen (blue against blue?)). Alex|The|Whovian? 01:50, 22 October 2016 (UTC)

Was a mistake. LLArrow (talk) 04:12, 22 October 2016 (UTC)

Astounding!

It's astounding, isn't it? Someone changes the widths with a reason ("changed the episode widths so that it doesn't look like everything is pushed to the right side"), and that's opinionated and not allowed, but then you do the same thing within minutes. There's a word for that... Alex|The|Whovian? 21:47, 24 October 2016 (UTC)

No you [insert something absurdly pleasant here], having all the columns pushed wherever you want them, when there is no danger of running out of space, is an opinion and needless; having the columns slightly readjusted due to lines bulging out of control is out of necessity. LLArrow (talk) 21:52, 24 October 2016 (UTC)
Hm. "changed the episode widths so that it doesn't look like everything is pushed to the right side" would typically mean giving more room to cells so that they're not all jammed to one side. Alex|The|Whovian? 21:55, 24 October 2016 (UTC)
Obviously you're not catching my drift dear. As long as columns are not forcing text to be broken into three lines, the columns should remain in largest-to-smallest column descending order. The editor claiming that they want the columns to feel more breezy is an opinion, unlike my Flash change which is to eliminate three-line text. LLArrow (talk) 00:24, 25 October 2016 (UTC)

Still trying to remove the Homeland column widths, then? Tut tut tut. Alex|The|Whovian? 11:08, 31 October 2016 (UTC)

Getting out of hand

This is getting out of hand.

  1. Your reverts and spread-out edit-warring over colours, at Feud (TV series) (1, 2, 3, 4) and Stranger Things (1, 2, 3); these are against WP:DEW and MOS:TV (Once established, colors that meet WP:COLOR should not be changed arbitrarily without discussion, under Formatting, which also quotes DEW at the end of the sentence).
  2. Your personal attacks and uncivil comments at Talk:Feud (TV series) to TAnthony, and Talk:List of Once Upon a Time episodes to myself, and uncivil/unrelative edit summaries (1, 2).
  3. Your clear violations of WP:CRYSTAL and WP:V at Once Upon a Time (season 6), as discussed on the talk page of the list-of-episodes article.

If you take note of this post, and either 1) revert it without comment or 2) reply in yet further uncivil tones, I will assume that you have no interest in editing in a collaborative manner, and will be required to take it further. You have been warned against edit-warring multiple and many times, especially after your previous block, where you promised not to edit-war at all, not just to the point of a 3RR violation (which has not occurred yet, bar the spread-out warring). Alex|The|Whovian? 07:10, 2 March 2017 (UTC)

Alex you are such a blessing. God bless. Have a great day! LLArrow (talk) 07:57, 2 March 2017 (UTC)
Seems you never understand #1. -- AlexTW 10:06, 13 March 2017 (UTC)

Once Upon a Time

therefore making the season 21 episodes in total. Reverting back to reflect that.

However, I can't wait for Adam to release the next title page stating it's the finale and I will most certainly say I told you so. I might even hire a prop-plane to write it across the sky in letters. Chow.

By all means. Finale's title-page is out. Chow. -- AlexTW 12:01, 15 March 2017 (UTC)

I can say I told you so about "The Song in Your Heart". It is the musical episode. Ha! LLArrow (talk) 19:25, 15 March 2017 (UTC)
Well, not really, since there's no source. Looks like we're still having out set 22 episodes! -- AlexTW 21:15, 15 March 2017 (UTC)
I could retort something malevolent, but since I am a ginormous fan of the show, I'll instead celebrate the fact that there will be a bit more than I expected. LLArrow (talk) 01:24, 16 March 2017 (UTC)

Information icon Hello, I'm AlexTheWhovian. I noticed that you made a comment on the page Talk:American Gods (TV series) that didn't seem very civil, so it has been removed. Wikipedia is built on collaboration, so it's one of our core principles to interact with one another in a polite and respectful manner. If you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. -- AlexTW 23:48, 2 April 2017 (UTC)

If you disagree with the edits and manner of another editor, you take it to their personal talk page, where I would be happy to discuss it. You don't go off on a tangent on a public discussion page with a comment completely unrelated to the discussion at hand, that consists entirely of a personal attack, complete with name-calling and the lot. Cheers. -- AlexTW 23:54, 2 April 2017 (UTC)

Somebody's feeling overly sensitive today. Usually you can take the muck with the meyer. Can't stand the heat, get the fork out of the kitchen friend. Your actions are beyond ludacris, and you will not be able to shut down people attempting to bring your misdeeds into the light. I may have my faults as an editor, but I'm no dictator. One of these days you're going to pull one too many fast-ones and you'll see this all go away. I personally am hoping it will be soon, if there is a God, it will be. LLArrow (talk) 01:27, 3 April 2017 (UTC)

While it may be hard for you, do try to keep on topic. Got an issue with an editor? Take it to their talk page. Learn what WP:NPA means, and realize the "just cause". Here is a nice reminder for you. -- AlexTW 10:57 am, Today (UTC+9.5)
I hope you don't hurt yourself coming down off that rather tall horse. Now go bother someone else. LLArrow (talk) 01:32, 3 April 2017 (UTC)
