- For aspects of historical firearms and long range shooting, plus biographic information on notable people you may find my web sites of interest - Research Press and Research Vault. - WP:Be bold and make your edits. If you think anyone will question them you can leave an explanation on the talk page. As for your website, there's guidelines about that. See WP:EL (especially WP:EL#ADV) and WP:V (especially WP:SPS). People seem to dislike it when webmasters just add links. But if you add content and use your site as a source that's different, assuming the source is reliable. New articles you've written probably don't qualify as reliable unless you're a published in the field. Reprints of reliable sources are OK, so long as there's no copyright issue. - I won't be littering WP with links to my site pages. If I do believe something has merit I'd likely post in talk and ask someone else to consider adding so there is no conflict of interest or spamming accusation. I've had quite a few articles published in UK and US magazine and shooting Association journals. Also been credited by some authors for assisting in their research.
