Hi.... Regarding the edits to Kane Ferdinand. Wikipedia operates on the basis of verifiable information. There are now 2 sources on the page which state clearly that Kane's father was "Irish born". If this information is incorrect, then a source (other than a family member) stating the correct information. There is no way for anyone on Wikipedia to know if you are in fact "Kane's mum" and, if you are, you run the risk of a conflict of interest in editing. I know it seems like this is too stringent at times, but it's the way Wikipedia has to work. If 2 independent sources say one thing and another editor (you) comes and says something else but there's no citation or reference to back it up, then we would have to go with what we can verify. I encourage you to see if there's a reference somewhere that will reinforce your claim. Otherwise, the information is likely to be changed again.  :) I'm not trying to be difficult, just illustrating how it works. Cheers! Wikipelli Talk 12:58, 10 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi again... just to let you know also, Wikipedia has another policy and I want to make you aware of it. wp:3rr states that any editor that makes 3 reverts within a 24 hour period could be blocked from editing temporarily. I think a good thing to do would be to state your position about the edit on the article's talk page. There, you and other editors can discuss the information and perhaps come to a consensus on how the information should appear in the article. :) If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to let me know.  :) Wikipelli Talk 13:03, 10 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
