What is happening in this sandbox[edit]

I am working with one of my students,User:Lakeratatat, to create an abridged version of Hooke's Law suitable for classroom use. The plan is to "bury" this article in the history of a page inside somebody's userspace and permalink to it from Wikiversity. For an example of this, please visit two pages:

  1. User:Guy_vandegrift/Timeline_of_quantum_mechanics_(abridged) is a permalink to what you will usually see if you go into my user space. It clearly indicates that this is not a WP article or draft.
  2. User:Guy_vandegrift/Timeline_of_quantum_mechanics_(abridged) is what you will not see or even likely to find unless you go through Wikiversity:Second Journal of Science

This "hiding" of the abridged article protects the reputation of Wikipedia while allowing Wikiversity to point to it. You may ask why we don't import the article into Wikiversity, the answer is that the importation of templates into Wikiversity is disruptive to Wikiversity, especially if Wikiversity already has a different template with the same name.

Nobody has told me that I cannot do this, and a growing number of WP editors are learning about it.
