A tag has been placed on Discount Tire Centers, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the guidelines on spam as well as Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. mark nutley (talk) 22:50, 20 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

May 2010[edit]

Please do not remove Articles for deletion notices from articles or remove other people's comments in Articles for deletion pages, as you did with Discount Tire Centers. Doing so won't stop the discussion from taking place. You are, however, welcome to comment about the proposed deletion on the appropriate page. Thank you. mark nutley (talk) 22:52, 20 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop removing speedy deletion notices from pages that you have created yourself, as you did with this edit to Discount Tire Centers. If you continue to do so, you will be blocked from editing. Seahorseruler (Talk Page) (Contribs) (Report a Vandal) 22:54, 20 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

hangon[edit]

You should have added the {{Hangon}} template, not removed the speedy tag, i added the hangon for you, good luck mark nutley (talk) 22:57, 20 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Discount Tire Centers, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion debate, such as at articles for deletion. Under the specified criteria, where an article has substantially identical content to that of an article deleted after debate, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

A tag has been placed on Discount Tire Centers requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organization or company, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for organizations and companies. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

Repeated recreation of Discount Tire Centers[edit]

You have been warned several times, to cease writing this article. It does not appear that its subject meets our notability guidelines, and repeatedly recreating it will not help it do so. The only thing which can make a subject notable is to have received substantial coverage by multiple reliable sources independent of the subject. If this company has received such coverage, you would need to cite those sources and write the article in a neutral tone. If it has not, it is an inappropriate subject for an article and no article should be created. If you have any questions, please let me know. If you continue to blindly recreate the article, you may be blocked from further editing. Seraphimblade Talk to me 05:35, 25 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not remove speedy deletion notices from pages you have created yourself. Please use the {{hangon}} template on the page instead if you disagree with the deletion, and make your case on the page's talk page. Thank you. — Timneu22 · talk 17:55, 25 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
