What's up, fellow 2024er? (That only applies to the whole of mankind during 99.7% of the year, so it's not a rotundancy. What do you mean that's not a word?)

February 2015[edit]

Information icon Before adding a category to an article, as you did to Underworld (film series), please make sure that the subject of the article really belongs in the category that you specified according to Wikipedia's categorization guidelines. Categories must also be supported by the article's verifiable content. Categories may be removed if they are deemed incorrect for the subject matter. Thank you. -- DonIago (talk) 20:32, 23 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Link. --Lapilluminati (talk) 21:11, 23 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks. Sorry I missed that. DonIago (talk) 21:14, 23 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
No problem. --Lapilluminati (talk) 21:26, 23 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Now I'm wondering whether the article should be renamed, perhaps to Underworld (franchise), as if there is to be a tv series, then "film series" is a bit misleading. Hm. DonIago (talk) 21:33, 23 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I thought that too. It's just that at this point the T.V. series doesn't exist. So...I dunno. --Lapilluminati (talk) 21:37, 23 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Right. Something we should keep in mind if the TV series actually happens. Thanks for your thoughts! DonIago (talk) 13:40, 24 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
No problem!
Maybe someone should leave a note in the section telling people to move the article when updating the section to reflect the show is fact. --Lapilluminati (talk) 22:47, 28 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I'm not really sure that's necessary, though it may not be a bad idea. A comment in the article and/or a note on the article's Talk page, perhaps. As I've got the article on my Watchlist, if that section was expanded, I'd eventually do something about it, though possibly not in a very timely manner. DonIago (talk) 19:55, 3 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Just saying. --Lapilluminati (talk) 17:08, 5 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice to inform you that a tag has been placed on Lego Star Wars: Droid Tales requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. smileguy91Need to talk? 23:55, 28 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Skyfall[edit]

Stop edit warring on this. You've been given enough reliable sources to show the name. Even if that wasn't the case, you need to grasp WP:BRD and use the talk page, instead of edit warring. While a discussion takes place, the last stable version should remain in place. This is normal, and doesn't just go with whatever your personal preference happens to be. - SchroCat (talk) 22:16, 29 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I can understand that, but sometimes what's correct is what's correct. --Lapilluminati (talk) 02:43, 30 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

FFS, WHICH BIT OF WP:BRD DO YOU NOT UNDERSTAND?? Which bit of DO NOT EDIT WAR is too difficult for you to understand? At the point I took your nonsense of the page I left a note on the talk page explaining it. Perhaps if you had bothered to look at that, rather than mindlessly edit war, you may have understood just where you are going wrong in your approach. - SchroCat (talk) 15:34, 30 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

If an edit is reverted without enough or reasonable justification, it makes every bit of sense for me to restore it.
Then perhaps you should've linked me to the page. --Lapilluminati (talk) 15:39, 30 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of James Bond: World of Espionage[edit]

The article James Bond: World of Espionage has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

WP:TOOSOON at best; no evidenc of meeting WP:NOTABILITY

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. December 2015[edit]

Information icon Please do not add unreferenced or poorly referenced information, especially if controversial, to articles or any other page on Wikipedia about living (or recently deceased) persons, as you did to Daniel Craig. Avoid using abusive language in your edit summaries, and come on... you can do better than that. 4TheWynne(talk)(contribs) 12:13, 17 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Is this an automated message? I didn't use abusive language; I didn't use words of any kind!!! --Lapilluminati (talk) 16:04, 17 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Hey, you know what, you weren't the one who added the source confirming his cameo appearance, so I would watch the tone in your edit summaries, as I know exactly what I'm talking about. The rule is that you can't just say he had a cameo/made an appearance of some sort in a film without backing it up with a reliable source. If you can't do that, then you can't just say that you know better than everyone else just because you've watched the film and others haven't. Additionally, earlier on I was referring to your previous edits on other pages, not specifically at Daniel Craig, so I apologise if I caused any confusion there. 4TheWynne(talk)(contribs) 03:32, 18 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
"Would watch the tone": That's not tone.
"Know exactly": No you didn't.
"The rule is": Then you should've said that instead of "this is ridiculous".
"Can't just say": I didn't. I said *you* didn't know what you were talking about. / If I hadn't watched the film, [1] I wouldn't have reverted someone's edit saying he was in it. :)
"Was referring": No problem. :) --Lapilluminati (talk) 18:57, 18 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Please be particularly aware that Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made.
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. clpo13(talk) 00:06, 28 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
