June 2019[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Aranya. I noticed that you recently removed content from Thakor without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Aranya 05:34, 11 June 2019 (UTC) [reply]

Information icon Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Thakor. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted.

Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continued disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. Thank you. Aranya 15:11, 11 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop adding unsourced content, as you did on Thakor. This violates Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Aranya 14:02, 16 June 2019 (UTC) [reply]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you add unsourced material to Wikipedia, as you did at Thakor. Aranya 15:28, 16 June 2019 (UTC) [reply]

First Of All, See The First Reference 'The Thakors Of North Gujarat, A Study Of Kolis Of North Gujarat' And Tgen See Second Reference By Ghanshyam Shah There Also Writen That Thakor Is Subcaste Of The Koli Community. I Think Yo Are Jealousy Of The Kolis. You Don't Following Wikipedia Policies And Using Your Position To Disturbing Me. LastofWords (talk) 15:30, 16 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. You appear to be repeatedly reverting or undoing other editors' contributions at Thakor. Although this may seem necessary to protect your preferred version of a page, on Wikipedia this is known as "edit warring" and is usually seen as obstructing the normal editing process, as it often creates animosity between editors. Instead of reverting, please discuss the situation with the editor(s) involved and try to reach a consensus on the talk page.

If editors continue to revert to their preferred version they are likely to be blocked from editing Wikipedia. This isn't done to punish an editor, but to prevent the disruption caused by edit warring. In particular, editors should be aware of the three-revert rule, which says that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Edit warring on Wikipedia is not acceptable in any amount, and violating the three-revert rule is very likely to lead to a block. Thank you. – Lauritz Thomsen (talk) 15:37, 16 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Okkay And Thnx But Aranya don't reading That What the References Saying And Reverting My Edits. I'm Also A Koli Thakor And Both Of The References Saying But Aranya decided to do against me. LastofWords (talk) 15:43, 16 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hi LastofWords. You removed a protection template and changed content without providing a reliable source in your recent edit to Thakor. Please write your concerns about the article at Talk:Thakor and stop edit warring. Thanks. Aranya 16:33, 16 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
For the record, LastofWords was only removing the unsourced changes introduced by 42.106.4.32. utcursch | talk 02:56, 18 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for August 10[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Khatik, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Khanna (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 08:01, 10 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Chamar[edit]

The source which you removed in these edits clearly shows self-identification. Here's the relevant quote from the removed source: "The successor I have chosen for myself is someone 18 to 20 years younger to me and hails from my own 'chamar' community." Also, WP:link rot is not a reason to remove sources. Please also see Talk:Chamar#Chamar being pejorative term. And if you still have any query then please discuss it at Talk:Chamar. Thanks. - NitinMlk (talk) 21:55, 17 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Okkay, got it. LastofWords (talk) 00:02, 18 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

As I mentioned here yesterday, please do not remove dead links of sources. Instead, use {{Dead link}} for them – see WP:KDL. Also, I just noticed that you have created a lot of princely state articles which are solely sourced to Raj-era's The Imperial Gazetteer of India. But that source is not considered reliable: see User:Sitush/CasteSources#The Imperial Gazetteer of India. So instead of that one, you should cite academic sources – see WP:HISTRS to know more about reliable sources for history-related topics. In fact, please only create a new article if it meets WP:GNG. So it would be a good idea to stop creating these unreliably sourced stubs. Thanks. - NitinMlk (talk) 19:36, 18 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, LastofWords,

Welcome to Wikipedia! I edit here too, under the username Broccoli and Coffee and it's nice to meet you :-)

I wanted to let you know that I’ve proposed an article that you started, Gujarat Thakor Koli Vikas Nigam, for deletion because it meets one of the relevant criterion. The particular issue can be located in the notice, that is now-visible at the top of the article.

If you wish to prevent the deletion:

  1. Edit the page
  2. Remove the text that looks like this: {{proposed deletion/dated...}}
  3. Click Publish Changes button.

But, please remember to explain why you think the article should be kept on the article's talk page and improve the page to address the raised issues. Otherwise, it may be deleted later by other means.

If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Broccoli and Coffee}}. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ . Thanks!

Information icon Hello, and thank you for your efforts to improve Wikipedia! However, you should know that it is not a good idea to remove citations or information sourced through citations simply because a link to a source is not working, as you did to Vagri. Dead links should not be deleted. Instead, please repair or replace the link, if possible, and ensure properly sourced information is retained. Often, a live substitute link can be found. Links not used as references, notes or citations are not as important, such as those listed in the "External links" or "Further reading" sections, but bad links in those sections should also be fixed if possible. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Greyjoy talk 07:16, 20 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. Constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, but a recent edit of yours to the page Hathras has an edit summary that appears to be inaccurate or inappropriate. The summaries are helpful to people browsing an article's history, so it is important that you use edit summaries that accurately tell other editors what you did. Feel free to use the sandbox to make test edits. Thank you. ☾Loriendrew☽ (ring-ring) 00:07, 25 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

Given the technical and behavioural evidence, this explanation is not plausible. Huon (talk) 20:28, 1 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Will you please go away and find another hobby. It is becoming tiresome cleaning up after your numerous sockpuppets. - Sitush (talk) 01:44, 1 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
