Project Links[edit]

Your project ideas are really interesting. Remember to think about how these relate to a communicative event. The google idea is good but the article is long and about an article in the atlantic - there are similarly related topics in communication studies but not specifically that. Head over to scholar.google.com and do some searches. For example, my initial thought about the Special Olympics project is that you could write an article about motivations for joining the special olympics. A quick search on scholar.google.com came up with this article. Hope this helps! Debaser42 (talk) 17:56, 16 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I've just edited behind you. I hope the edit is now the way you wanted it. Regards :)  -- WikHead (talk) 17:59, 23 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you! I was just figuring out how to edit that reference to go back and fix it =] Laural17 (talk) 18:11, 23 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
LOL. It took me a couple minutes of looking through each of your edits to figure out exactly what you were trying to do there... but I'm glad it all worked out. All the best to you, and happy editing! :)  -- WikHead (talk) 18:36, 23 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I also reviewed your edits to Special Olympics. Sometimes it can be tricky adding references. One piece of missing code can corrupt your whole effort. I have a cheat sheet at User:My76Strat/Notes that might be helpful for you. Regarding the content itself, where you added: "Most of the participants are motivated to join the Special Olympics for the physical benefit ...", it is impossible for us to say what motivates the most participants to do a thing. Such content is better presented as: "Participants are encouraged to participate in Special Olympics for the physical benefit ...". We can support the latter while the former remains unsustainable by verification. Overall your efforts were good and did improve the encyclopedia. We just want to go the one step further and present information from a neutrally factual point of view. Let me know if you have questions or if I can be of assistance. Cheers My76Strat (talk) 04:34, 26 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hey! I think you picked a great topic for the project. And I really like the sections you decided to expand on in your sand box! looks great! good luck :) Sabrina.roy (talk) 22:13, 14 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hey![edit]

Here is the link to the general ambassador program that I was telling you about the other day. If you are interested, the links for each type of ambassador lead to the process with which you could use to apply. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask, and if I do not respond within a few days, feel free to leave a note on my talk page. Kevin Rutherford (talk) 07:46, 10 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
