Aperture dimensions for various formats[edit]

Hey, I was reading a bit on cinematography.com forums (I lurk there a lot) and noticed that you were looking for some dimensions for various formats. As it happens, I'm slowly working on creating a massive table for the Wikipedia which will contain all this information. While it's very much still a work in progress, I've done work on most of the major formats now, so perhaps it will be useful for your purposes? It is regrettably only in inches at the moment, but I'm assuming someone more patient that me will do the conversions...(I'm too lazy, sorry!)

Anyway, have a look: User:Girolamo Savonarola/test. I only request that you not edit anything, even if it's blatantly wrong - leave a comment on the discussion page instead. When the whole thing is done, I plan to just copy and paste the code into a new wikipedia page for this info.

Great job you've done ! Sorry I didn't read the whole stuff in detail, I'm actually shooting two short films at the moment, that doesn't leave much time, see what I mean.

I only was thinking that the diagrams you put as to show the different aspect ratios (I'm talking of the grey ones, with values on it) could be put horizontally instead of vertically...
