Please do not add commentary or your own personal analysis to Wikipedia articles, as you did to National Organization for Marriage. Unfortunately, it's hard to keep articles on such hot-button issues truly neutral as everyone has a different opinion on what that entails. My best advice would be to discuss it and make a strong yet polite argument on the article's talk page. If you can get a consensus to point to, someone reverting your edits would be in the wrong...just remember to mention the consensus in the edit description.
