- @Scope creep: Nothing - it never existed in the first place. But per WP:REDNOT you should never add red-linked categories to an article. And while I do create thousands of red-linked categories, I also tend towards avoiding WP:OVERCATEGORISATION so often bump articles up to the next level. A good category has 30+ members, not one or two. Feel free to help out at Special:WantedCategories to see what we're up against... Le Deluge (talk) 15:19, 14 December 2019 (UTC)

- Okay, that has now been done. All the separate nominations can now be discussed at Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/Wikipedia:Version 1.0 Editorial Team/Pinehouse Photography Club articles by quality statistics. I'll refrain from nominating any further pages for speedy deletion until that discussion gets finished.
Also, again don't worry about the small mistake. MFD is a weird place, and it isn't like AFD (which I imagine you kind of thought it was like). We try to have as few duplicate discussions as possible if we know they are going to result in the same arguments, and if something should obviously be kept or speedied, folks try to see that happen sooner than later. Bratislava
Thank you for the delete though I would not categorize it as a test but rather a typo, it should just be without "In Slovakia", so perhaps it should be moved instead (if not existing prior)?--Jetam2 (talk) 05:28, 29 December 2019 (UTC)
- @Jetam2: Well the fact that you put the country and the region in the name together (and didn't copy the capitalisation of the other region categories) told me that you weren't very familiar with the category system, and marking it as a test is a quick way to remove it. It's a general principle that to reduce WP:OVERCATEGORISATION and needless duplication, we often end up having just one level of categories where the region and city are more or less the same and I must admit, I assumed that this was another example of this common situation. Now I've looked it in more detail, it seems there's a significant amount of the region that's not in the city - but the non-city population is in relatively small towns like Malacky. So I'd suggest that the best way would be to mostly have categories to cover the whole region and only have categories for Bratislava city in cases where there's a category for another town like Malacky. So for instance, I'd move Category:Transport in Bratislava to Category:Transport in Bratislava Region (transport tends to operate on a regional level anyway), whereas I'd keep Category:Sport in Bratislava and Category:Sport in Malacky as subcategories of Category:Sport in Bratislava Region. @LeDeluge Maybe on en.wiki I am les experienced as I operate mostly on sk.wiki. Had you checked out the discussion page for the category you would know that I had realized the typo and suggested a move. In terms of the categorization itself: specifically for Bratislava I would keep it since it is both the capital and the biggest city in Slovakia. Malacky, Senec, Svätý Jur et al are smaller towns in absolute terms but in Slovakia's context not insignificant. The respective categories on sk.wiki and Commons are quite populated so I would suggest to keep them separate here too. Happy 2020! Jetam2 (talk) 14:14, 31 December 2019 (UTC)

Hi Le Deluge,
I noticed that yesterday you reverted my edits on the page of Apartment List. All the changes were good-faith edits including fact correction, removal of redundant data and update of information, all backed up by appropriate citations found online. I have also observed that you look into 'Categories' which was an issue on the page but since that looked like a suspicious attempt by one of the editors - Malikmajid221, I left it as is for the moderators to review.
