Inuse[edit]

If you want to keep an article safe from being edited or deleted when you are working on it, put the {{inuse}} tag at the top of your article. While it does not guarantee disruption (it is, after all, only a tag), it does provide warning to others that it is currently being worked on. As a courtesy to other editors, please remove the tag between editing sessions. Good luck on this article - it looks interesting. Denni talk 22:03, 19 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks, I think I saw that tag before, but I couldn't find what it was today.Leon math 22:08, 19 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia[edit]

Wow! I'm kind of new to Wikipedia and I find it absolutely amazing. The more I read rants on other websites about the bad sides of Wikipedia, the more I like Wikipedia. Also it's amazing how fast a new article gets seen, even though no other article links to it yet. For example when I made the article X(x+1)(x+2)(x+3) + 1 = y^2, (which I now think should be deleted), 2 users (Denni and Omnicronpersei8) immediately responded. Create a User Page[edit]

CREATE A USER PAGE!!!Advancewars177 05:14, 20 November 2006 (UTC) + Hey! Check the Fever 1793 article history! Some jerk whos IP address is 69.92.192.77 came and vandalized it SEVERAL TIMES!!! His/her IP adress was soon blocked. Check out his/her history (click here)! A persistent vandal. You should see his/her talkpage {click here). I'm kinda disappointed that he/she was blocked for only 31 hours.[reply]

Why?
example reason: Barnstars
I don't think I'd qualify for any of those, I'm still relatively new. Also be sure to indent your replies with :'s on talk pages. I've done so for you. (Are you Advancewars177? You didn't sign) Leon math 22:54, 20 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Inuit language[edit]

I saw your comment on the talk page but I can't find the sentence you mentioned. In fact I can't even find the word tree in the article. Cheers. CambridgeBayWeather (Talk) 07:52, 21 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

It is the second sentence in the first paragraph of Inuktitut language Strange, the talk page for Inuktitut language is the same one as the talk page for Inuit language.Leon math 20:33, 21 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
OK, now I see it. I've answered at Talk:Inuit language. CambridgeBayWeather (Talk) 08:40, 22 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Your AIV report[edit]

Thank you for making a report about 121.45.25.81 (talk · contribs · block log) at Wikipedia:Administrator intervention against vandalism. Reporting and removing vandalism is vital to the functioning of Wikipedia and all users are encouraged to revert, warn, and report vandalism. However, administrators generally only block users if they have received a recent final warning (one that mentions that the user may be blocked) and they have recently vandalized after that warning was given. The reported user has not yet been blocked because it appears this has not occurred yet. If this user continues to vandalize after their final warning, please report them to the AIV noticeboard again. Thank you. Khukri 21:04, 14 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Image:Lights out explan.GIF, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Image:Lights out explan.GIF is a duplicate of an already existing article, category or image.

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Image:Lights out explan.GIF, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
