POLICIES[edit]

I am well aware of all your reasons for blocking the name. I don't even want it unblocked because I have no interest in editing anything on this site. What I DO want is for you "power hungry freaks" to make sure that you don't let others post completely inaccurate information.

My changes were reverted within hours, but the misinformation that was on this page prior to those changes were ignored.

Also, no one has made a real effort to verify any of the information on the page. So... leave the name banned. But if you're going t be responsible with all your little badges and pretty stars on your "talk" pages, then be responsible across the board and not just when you're flexing your "internet muscle".

May 2011[edit]

This account has been blocked indefinitely from editing Wikipedia because your username, Lhccofficial, does not meet our username policy.

Your username is the only reason for this block. You are welcome to choose a new username (see below).

A username should not be promotional, related to a "real-world" group or organization, misleading, offensive, or disruptive. Also, usernames may not end in the word "bot" unless the account is an approved bot account

You are encouraged to choose a new account name that meets our policy guidelines. Alternatively, if you have already made edits and you wish to keep your existing contributions under a new name, then you may request a change in username by:

  1. Adding {{unblock-un|your new username here}} on your user talk page. You should be able to do this even though you are blocked, as you can usually still edit your own talk page. If not, you may wish to contact the blocking administrator by clicking on "E-mail this user" on their talk page.
  2. At an administrator's discretion, you may be unblocked for 24 hours to file a request.
  3. Please note that you may only request a name that is not already in use, so please check here for a listing of already taken names. The account is created upon acceptance, thus do not try to create the new account before making the request for a name change. For more information, please see Wikipedia:Changing username.
If you feel that you were blocked in error, you may appeal this block by adding below this notice the text {{unblock|Your reason here}}, but you should read our guide to appealing blocks first. -- DQ (t) (e) 12:13, 19 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
This user's request to be unblocked to request a change in username has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without a good reason (see the blocking policy). Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Decline reason:

Despite the fact that the blocking administrator chose to give you a block notice which says "your username is the only reason for this block", that is not, in fact, the only problem. Your editing has been unambiguously promotional, which is contrary to Wikipedia policy. If you are to be unblocked you will have not only to assert that you understand the reason for the block, but also indicate how your editing will be different in future, with particular reference to the conflict of interest issue. Here are a few key questions:

You are currently blocked because your username appears directly related to a company, group or product that you have been promoting, contrary to the username policy. Changing the username will not allow you to violate the 3 important principles above. Daniel Case (talk) 13:28, 19 May 2011 (UTC) Just to be clear.[reply]

I understand the policy. I understand the reason for blocking the account and thus I am requesting a name change.
