You are doing a great job LibearyGay, but I think you need to go back and re-read what speedy deletion means, it isn't for deleting things you dislike or disagree with. Welcome to Wikipedia my friend!!! Rainbowangie 10:38, 6 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Dear LibearyGay,
Please check the criteria for speedy deletions for advice on what is speedable and what is not. I understand you are a new user, it is better to familiarise yourself with wikipedia editing before doing any CSD work, as this may annoy some editors who may see you as a single purpose account. Yes, I'm new here[edit]

I made the leap from simply being a "user" of Wikipedia to being someone who is helping to make it better. My particular area of interest are the biographies of living persons. In being a casaul observer of Wikipedia for years I've noted that many many individuals have been clearly added by themselves for purely self-promotional purposes. So, I thought, why not join and try to help maintain this part of Wikipedia since there are guidelines and policies that govern their inclusion and if they're not brought to someone's attention, they'll simply remain. I've reread the various sections relating to why someone deserves an entry. While I wasn't exactly correct in all cases with the articles I touched, I was right on with others as they've been speedily deleted. Much as one Wikipedia's new user guidelines states, I began doing some edits to articles that are somewhat related which could be seen as "single user account" behavior. I started with what I knew and then quickly branched out and randomly started looking at articles that are completely unrelated to one another. For my money, Wikipedia only gets better by users jumping and getting their hands dirty and not being wallflowers. Nothing I touched was permanent by any stretch and as I discover better ways to tag/edit things I will get better. I learn quickly, so, have a little patience with me and all will be fine. Kevin Bowen Prod Failed[edit]

The Kevin Bowen prod failed. Perhaps AFD would be more effective? --Quirex 21:37, 13 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi! I noticed that you have made 1 or more previous edits to the Kevin Bowen article. I put it up for AFD on the grounds that it fails to satisfy WP:BIO and the biography thus is of an unnotable individual. There was a previous discussion showing that Kevin Bowen failed to meet WP:BIO I did do some background research and found very few reliable sources. Perhaps you'd like to take part in the AFD? --Quirex 07:31, 22 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
