Exits or Junctions[edit]

Better discuss this before changing all the articles. They are commonly called "junctions". The Exit is but one part of a junction. (Sarah777 (talk) 00:56, 12 December 2007 (UTC))[reply]

All three terms seem to be used in Ireland; I guess the overall whole connection between two roads is an Interchange; it is comprised of several or many junctions, some of which are exits from the mainline. Sarah777 (talk) 10:34, 20 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Colours[edit]

Hi Limbo; I think the colour you are using for the font in the (otherwise excellent) pngs for N-roads is too yellow and not orange enough. Sarah777 (talk) 23:42, 11 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

And maybe the green isn't dark enough. Sarah777 (talk) 23:43, 11 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Great M-way shields! We need one for the M17, M18 and M25 roads as they are all having M-way sections built. Sarah777 (talk) 09:52, 17 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Like this

Limbo-Messiah (talk) 13:19, 18 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Magnifico!!!! Sarah777 (talk)

Hi we also need an M20 sign, and for someone to update the page on the N20 bearing this in mind:Italic text http://www.corkrdo.ie/files/N20%20brochure%20Route%20Options.pdf

Black & White[edit]

Limbo - could we call on your amazing singage skills once more? There are dozens of Regional Road articles and they could do with your shield making talents. Right is a typical standard sign - just the route-marker at the top should do as they are a lower grade road than the N52 road. Regards Sarah777 (talk) 16:23, 29 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Sarah, I do intend to do all the Route Shields, maybe even for routes that don't exist yet. But I've been very busy lately. First I want to finish the National Routes. For the national routes I'm thinking of just doing Route Confirmation Signs a lá N52 for Routes that will not be Motorway or HQDC inter urban routes. I've done intersection numbers up to from 1 to 20, maybe I need to do "0" as the M50 starts at 0 (Zero) well on some signage anyway, I hope to get up to 30 done maybe even 40, but I can't see may routes getting up that high.

The Regional Roads will be done in time. On major ones there will be a Route Confirmation Sign too.

Limbo-Messiah (talk) 22:56, 30 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Great stuff! The most exit numbers I can see in the plans is the N7/M7 which will go to about 35 (and may also start at zero!). Sarah777 (talk) 00:35, 31 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Altered Images[edit]

Limbo, I have figured out what is going wrong. Melesse had moved your images to Commons and deleted the originals you uploaded. It turns out the Commons versions are all wrong, but I cannot revert his/her edits because the originals are now gone. Wonderful. I've left a message on his/her talkpage and asked it repair the damage but it may need you to reload your originals. Sarah777 (talk) 00:14, 13 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Limbo, some further news (check my talkpage for details) - it seems if you don't convert the images to SVG format yourself someone else will (as per policy) so the resulting new icon will have to be manually re-sized in the article. Seems there is no way around this. Sorry for the bother! Sarah777 (talk) 13:14, 14 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Motorway Junction Numbers[edit]

Hi. Nice work in doing up all the PNGs for the Motorway junction numbers. As you might have seen, I've been doing a bit of work on the junction templates. On N7 road you can see that we need more junction PNGs. I'm afraid I have no idea how to make them. Any hope of doing a few more ? Thanks ManfromDelmonte (talk) 13:44, 29 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

No problem. Great work with all those motorway signs by the way. How do you make them ? Just to tell you too that you did motorway exist sign no 20, which for some reason was deleted by admin. ManfromDelmonte (talk) 21:58, 8 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

M20 sign needed[edit]

Hi Limbo, can you do up a blue M20 sign for the N20 page? Thanks. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.203.3.105 (talk) 11:15, 6 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

More Junction/Interchange/Exit symbols needed![edit]

Hi Limbo - you've been hard at it while I was away I see. If you take a peek at N7 road (Ireland) you'll see we could use several additional Exit number symbols - numbers 20 to 32 inclusive. Regards Sarah777 (talk) 10:29, 20 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

You've probably already seen it, but you don't have to worry. I finished off those exit numbers. I hope they fit in with ones you made. Trans5999 (talk) 17:11, 17 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Calling Limbo![edit]

Limbo, I was doing some tidy-up work on the N17 that N18 roads when it struck me that some little template for the roads that will make up the "Atlantic Corridor" might be nice. Can you do that sort of thing? (The roads involved are N15, 17, 18, 20 and 25). Regards Sarah777 (talk) 11:50, 6 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

What Colour do you want it, brown tourist, or white or green background? I don't know as roads aren't usually named. Do you have a translation for it.Limbo-Messiah (talk) 21:29, 15 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link.

A tag has been placed on File:Exit 2.png requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image is an unused redundant copy (all pixels the same or scaled down) of an image in the same file format, which is on Wikipedia (not on Commons), and all inward links have been updated.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Regional road shields (Ireland)[edit]

Great work on the Irish regional road shields, LM! This is a begging message: would you at some time be able to add shields for R890+ ? The numbers in the latest Statutory Instrument I have access to reach R941 -- with gaps, though an R999 has now been spotted!. I'd do it myself if I knew how... -- Picapica (talk) 17:51, 13 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
