Please do not add promotional material to Wikipedia, as you did to Isles of Scilly. While objective prose about beliefs, products or services is acceptable, Wikipedia is not intended to be a vehicle for soapboxing, advertising or promotion. Thank you. Writing about yourself

I think you may be misunderstanding how Wikipedia works. Firstly writing about yourself means you have a big WP:conflict of interest. Michael Morpurgo and Nevil Shute are notable authors with their own Wikipedia articles. There is no article for Lin Treadgold yet on Wikipedia so no indication of your own WP:Notability. You will need multiple references to the book in WP:reliable sources to provide evidence of the book's notability, your own observations are not enough. Hope this helps.
