Circular links[edit]

I noticed that you are creating some circular links. For example, in the Smart manufacturing article, you inserted [ [ Smart manufacturing|smart factory ] ] which just loops the reader back to the top of the page. That is not helpful. Constant314 (talk) 15:22, 3 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Misuse of the article "the"[edit]

I noticed that you have used the article the incorrectly several times. For example, you inserted the into this sentence in two places: Better predictions can facilitate better strategies for ordering the raw materials or scheduling the production runs. The is used when there is only one of something, as in the largest city or the champion. Both materials and runs are plural and thus could never be used with the. June 2022[edit]

Your account has been indefinitely blocked from editing because of the following problems: the account has been used for advertising or promotion, which is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia, and your username indicates that the account represents a business, organisation, group, or web site, which is against the username policy.

You may request a change of username and unblock if you intend to make useful contributions instead of promoting your business or organization. To do this, first search Special:CentralAuth for available usernames that comply with the username policy. Once you have found an acceptable username, post the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with your new username and replace the text "Your reason here" with your reasons to be unblocked. In your reasons, you must:

  • Disclose any compensation you may receive for your contributions in accordance with the Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure requirement.
  • Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked.
  • Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked.
Appeals: If, after reviewing the guide to appealing blocks, you believe this block was made in error, you may appeal it by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your reason here" with the reasons you believe the block was an error, and publish the page. -- Tamzin[cetacean needed] (she/they) 07:02, 20 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Requested username:

Request reason:

The purpose for creating this wikipedia page is to provide information on visual inspection companies across the world. On a recent survey and conversation with few of the manufacturing companies, figured that they have less or no platforms to update them about the latest technologies in the market and companies that could boost up their business. So as an initiative I have decided to write about startups and companies providing the latest technologies for the manufacturing industry. To begin with I chose Lincode and did a research with their team, to come up with all the necessary facts and information. Since this is the first company I chose their name as the username, and to be genuine was not aware about username policy, not to use the same name. I understand the reason for blocking this page and assure to not repeat these kinds of errors in the future. On unblocking of this page, I intend to contribute more such relevant information that could help my fellow manufacturers who comprise more than 60% of the Indian economy. I also assure that my contents are for the betterment and goodwill of a larger group and not for personal needs. Lincode Labs (talk) 09:41, 4 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

What you wrote was blatant advertising and you seem to be saying that's what you will continue to do in violation of WP:COI and WP:PAID, so there are no grounds to remove the block. You're going to need to edit in other, unrelated areas before we can even consider permitting you to make conflict of interest related edits, so you can demonstrate that you understand our guidelines and policies. I am declining your request. 331dot (talk) 09:53, 4 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I've fixed the formatting of this request for proper display. 331dot (talk) 09:49, 4 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
