Shai Zakai[edit]

Thank you for creating the article about Shai Zakai. I came across it while looking through new pages and was pleased to have had the opportunity to find out more about this interesting artist and her life spent pushing her eco-art cause.-- Mrmatiko (talk) 18:13, 11 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Editathon pages[edit]

Hi–I'm a bit confused about your pages Smithsonian American Art Museum: Art+Feminism Edit-a-thon 2018, DC Art and Feminism Wikipedia-Edit-A-Thon at SAAM and Wikipedia:Meetup/DC/Art and Feminism Wikipedia-Edit-A-Thon at SAAM, since they all seem to take place on March 20. Are they three pages for same event, and if so would you like me to convert two of them to redirects? Blythwood (talk) 19:45, 3 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Deletion discussion about Harvey Cropper[edit]

Hello, LinthicumRyanR,

Welcome to Wikipedia! I edit here too, under the username Meatsgains and it's nice to meet you :-)

I wanted to let you know that I've started a discussion about whether an article that you created, Harvey Cropper should be deleted. Your comments are welcome over Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Harvey Cropper .

You might like to note that such discussions usually run for seven days and are not ballot-polls. And, our guide about effectively contributing to such discussions is worth a read. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.

If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Meatsgains}}. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ . Thanks!

Sources[edit]

hi and welcome to Wikipedia! I noticed your addition of material on Harvey Cropper. Thanks for this. The new paragraph you added recently is good but it does not have sources. Material without sources can be challenged and deleted, so could you add an inline source? See WP:RS for information about that. ThatMontrealIP (talk) 18:43, 17 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

hello again: could you read that link I sent you, on reliable sources? Youtube, for example, is not considered to be a reliable source in most cases, as anyone can publish something to it. Newspapers and books are the best types of sources. I'll leave the article for you to develop, and delete any non-reliable sources like Youtube later on.ThatMontrealIP (talk) 19:34, 17 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Harvey Cropper image[edit]

Hello. Thanks for your work on the Harvey Tristan Cropper article. I noticed that the image you uploaded is marked as being "public domain" but that it is also a screenshot from a copyrighted YouTube video. "Public domain" is a specific copyright status. It is not a synonym for "publicly viewable". If the video is copyrighted, then derivative works are also copyrighted and can only be used in limited cases, such as having a verifiable license with specified conditions for reuse (e.g. Creative Commons attribution license) or providing a clear and specific Non-free use rationale. If you cannot or do not have a clear license for reuse or a non-free use rationale, the image is a copyright violation and has to be deleted under Wikipedia policy. So, please update your uploaded file to include accurate license or fair use information. Thanks. Bakazaka (talk) 21:39, 17 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks[edit]

It's not closed yet, but my guess is that the AfD discussion on Harvey Cropper will close as Keep, based on your improvements to the article... no guarantee, but fingers crossed.ThatMontrealIP (talk) 05:38, 19 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Ricardo Francis requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion discussion, at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Ricardo Francis. When a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after a discussion, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Ricardo Francis moved to draftspace[edit]

An article you recently created, Ricardo Francis, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Concern regarding Draft:Ricardo Francis[edit]

Information icon Hello, LinthicumRyanR. This is a bot-delivered message letting you know that Draft:Ricardo Francis, a page you created, has not been edited in at least 5 months. Draft space is not an indefinite storage location for content that is not appropriate for article space.

If your submission is not edited soon, it could be nominated for deletion under CSD G13. If you would like to attempt to save it, you will need to improve it. You may request userfication of the content if it meets requirements.

If the deletion has already occurred, instructions on how you may be able to retrieve it are available here.

Thank you for your submission to Wikipedia. FireflyBot (talk) 04:01, 2 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Your draft article, Draft:Ricardo Francis[edit]

Hello, LinthicumRyanR. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Ricardo Francis".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been deleted. If you plan on working on it further and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. Liz Read! Talk! 05:14, 30 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
