Bob Fritz did not die at home in San Jose. Unless my memory has gone completely awry, he died on the dance floor of the Ambassador Hotel during the Glass Art Society conference in LA in 1986. I was about 2 metres from him at the time. The date in the article may be correct. There were hundreds of artists there to verify. D. Wilcoxson
