Welcome![edit]

Hello, Little.panda9, and welcome to Wikipedia! My name is Ian and I work with Wiki Education; I help support students who are editing as part of a class assignment.

I hope you enjoy editing here. If you haven't already done so, please check out the student training library, which introduces you to editing and Wikipedia's core principles. You may also want to check out the Teahouse, a community of Wikipedia editors dedicated to helping new users. Below are some resources to help you get started editing.

Article Vetting[edit]

Here are my thoughts on your 5 article choices for this project, Ray:

Brussels lace: - This seems like a good fit, particularly in terms of restructuring. It's also been stalled for quite a while.

Effie Gray: - This article needs a lot of work, but much of it seems like it would fall under new content.

Ellen Ternan: - This could be a good fit even as a Stub class, because it seems to need a lot of work re: structure and citation.

Girl with a Pearl Earring: - There are some content gaps here that could be expanded on, depending on what you determine the purpose of the article should be.

Keukenhof: - This could work well since it's been flagged for unbalanced research, if that's how you want to approach this.

Overall: I think the Brussels lace and Ellen Ternan articles would be the best fit for this project, particularly if you already have some ideas on how to edit them. Happy to chat further on any of these articles if you have questions. Spike Mugiwara (talk) 16:50, 21 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
