a request

The deletion of four of the six articles that prompted this note were expired {{prod}}s. For Choppa, CJ Mac, D-Shot, Celly Cel all that was required was for you to request their restoration. Anyone is allowed to request the restoration of an expired {{prod}}. Sometimes an administrator will restore the expired article, but will suggest to the original nominator that they initiate a full {{afd}}.

User:Courcelles is correct to have deleted these articles. However, the nominator was supposed to have advised you of the nomination.

Anyone is entitled to request the restoration of an expired {{prod}}, and I did so with Choppa.

As you can see I found additional references for Choppa. I told Courcelles that I would make sure those references would be incorporated in the article. When it is restored, could you take care of that?

You were pretty hostile with Courcelles. Do you think that hostility was justified? My interpretation of our policies is that, in theory, we are never supposed to allow ourselves to be as hostile as you allowed yourself to be. I don't know if you have a hsitory with Courcelles, and, based on that history, you thought you were responding in kind. We are not supposed to respond in kind, although lots of people, including administrators who should really be setting an example, do routinely respond in kind.

I am not an administrator. If I were in Courcelles position I would have first warned you about your hostile tone, and then have restored the four expired {{prod}}s.

As a courtesy to me, because I spent time rounding up those references, could you use more moderate language when communicating with Courcelles? I am not an expert on music related articles. There are specific criteria that only apply to music related articles. Can I rely on you to double check those criteria, and try to make sure the Choppa article complies with them? If it can't be made to comply with them, I think one of us should request its deletion -- possibly after merging elements of it into other articles.

Look, I had asked an administrator for his help, but he has yet to answer my request. But as far as reverting Romeo discography, Davis100 was adding information that simply was not true, certifications, chart positions and sales that are not at all accurate. I had cleaned the page up a bit and he kept changing it back. He had been given numerous warnings prior to this (including a final warning by User:STATicVerseatide that went unnoticed) and should have been banned months ago. Looks to me like a pretty vanilla content dispute; why not try dispute resolution or just wait for admin assistance once a report is made? If the information is obviously false, it shouldn't be very much trouble to get a posse of editors to say so, right? The last revert was my final one, I had contacted Administrators' noticeboard hoping to end this nonsense, but I now see I should've done it earlier as it would've prevented me from getting blocked. But my intent was not to let this carry out into an edit war but to remove disruptive information that was not factual, I can assure you this will never happen again. RE: Discography

Even if the change doesn't make any sense, it's still the change. So if you want it changed back, hit up the talk page and try to change it back. Until it's changed back, I'm going to revert back to the RIAA, BPI, MC, etc. It's more professional, and editors won't be confused when they see "US" wikilinked to different things. The Rambling Man explains it more at WT:DISCOGSTYLE.
