Image-caption links[edit]

Thanks for finding commons images to add to so many articles! You don't need to include an explicit URL link to the image-page on commons in the caption, because the images themselves automatically link to there. DMacks (talk) 03:27, 26 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks, except please don;t add images top articles that already have enough images in them. Also, try to match the layout of the article as it exists, instead of breaking it with a new image. Beyond My Ken (talk) 22:33, 26 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Internal links[edit]

Hello. Thanks for your work to improve Wikipedia. Other articles may be linked by enclosing the title in double brackets. For instance, the text [[Giuseppe Vasi]] typed in the edit window renders the following: Giuseppe Vasi. This is called an internal link or wikilink. It's a good idea to avoid using external link coding to make an internal link, in part because it displays as if it's an external link—Giuseppe Vasi—which is confusing to our readers. For more information on how to use links, see Help:Link. RivertorchFIREWATER 20:50, 24 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
