This page is your Talk page. Here you can receive messages from other Wikipedians and discuss things with them. At the end of your messages you should put your signature, by signing with four ~~~~ or by pressing the button in the editor bar—shown here in the picture. Do not sign in the articles themselves. See When signatures should and should not be used for more information.

Winnipesaukee pics[edit]

Do you know that self-taken pictures can be added to Wikipedia:Wikimedia Commons, without the need to be confirmed? It is the preferred location for such pictures. Plus, they have a new upload procedure. I have particular interest in the Winnipesaukee region, so will be interested in your pictures, but will also offer to help you upload if there are any questions, and help you put them in articles, if it isn't clear how to do it. Uploading to Commons is easy, I was going to say it is easier than to Wikipedia, but I haven't uploaded to Wikipedia in years, so I don't know what that process is like anymore. The main shortcoming in the Commons upload is that adding categories is still less than perfect, but I can help you with that as well.--SPhilbrick(Talk) 21:33, 11 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I requested to have my account confirmed. I can upload then. I have quite a few pictures. What a beautiful lake. Lnxmad (talk) 22:19, 11 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Ah, I misread. I'll upload them there. Lnxmad (talk) 22:24, 11 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I look forward to seeing them.--SPhilbrick(Talk) 23:21, 11 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
