Sandbox deletion[edit]

It's too late now, but in the future if you are just looking to have a vandal blocked the proper forum for reporting is WP:AIV. Usually this will require an observation that a user has continued vandalizing after being warned four times. You can warn them yourself after each offense if need be, either manually or using twinkle/huggle. This will almost invariably result in the vandal being blocked with a minimum of investigation.

In contrast, WP:AN/I is for reporting more complex situations, as such it results in greater investigation which can go in any direction, including against the reporter or even third parties as occurred in your case. Lots of "eyes" are on AN/I and in many cases incidents will draw commentary and investigation from multiple independent editors and even random IPs, it is not the place to go if you wish to avoid drama and widespread notice.

No one can tell you what to do in the future, but in general these discussions do tend to result in the correct outcome per policy, and it is the proper reporting channel in many cases. Hopefully this experience doesn't turn you off from Wikipedia, which can always use more editors, best 71.62.176.24 (talk) 18:12, 10 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Agatha Christie photo[edit]

Hi Lochglasgowstrathyre, thanks for editing the Christie photo. I had started a discussion on the Christie talk page suggesting a slightly different approach. Please have a look and let me know what you think. RLO1729 (talk) 13:47, 14 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your reply, I thought your cropped Schiphol image was better so I've used that. RLO1729 (talk) 23:56, 15 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
