February 2023[edit]

Hello, I'm Materialscientist. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Tana (rapper), but you didn't provide a source. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to include a citation to a reliable source and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Materialscientist (talk) 23:03, 31 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

March 2023[edit]

Information icon Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I noticed that one or more recent edit(s) you made did not have an edit summary. You can use the edit summary field to explain your reasoning for an edit, or to provide a description of what the edit changes. Summaries save time for other editors and reduce the chances that your edit will be misunderstood. For some edits, an adequate summary may be quite brief.

The edit summary field looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

Please provide an edit summary for every edit you make. With a Wikipedia account you can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing → check Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary, and then click the "Save" button. Thanks! — PerfectSoundWhatever (t; c) 00:41, 14 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not add or change content, as you did at Jane Remover, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Please review WP:A/S and WP:RSP for what is and is not considered a reliable source.PerfectSoundWhatever (t; c) 05:12, 16 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Disambiguation link notification for June 25[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Waking at Dawn, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page XXL. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 06:04, 25 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hello! Voting in the 2023 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 11 December 2023. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2023 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:37, 28 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Official name[edit]

I'm not sure why you are adding and removing state names from infoboxes? Magnolia677 (talk) 22:44, 25 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hey yeah, sorry about that. I saw them removed in numerous big articles as well as good articles and couldn't find a city template, so seeing that I thought that was correct. I just reverted all the edits I made of those, you could probably tell I was bored LOL. Take them as really bad good faith if that makes sense. Sorry again, all fixed now! Learned my mistake. Locust member (talk) 22:47, 25 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I'm not sure your edits were incorrect. If you look at Template:Infobox settlement, none of the examples have the state included. But if you look at WP:USCITIES, the example has the state name. Magnolia677 (talk) 23:05, 25 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah I found the former but not the latter so that's why I was confused. I would say it's gray area but I'll respect WP:USCITIES since I guess that's the one I should be looking at. Locust member (talk) 23:11, 25 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
