Welcome!

Hello, Lollipop2011, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of the pages you created, such as Nicholas Alonzi, may not conform to some of Wikipedia's guidelines, and may soon be deleted.

There's a page about creating articles you may want to read called Your first article. If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the New contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{helpme}} on this page, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you have any questions, check out Wikipedia:Questions or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome! →Στc. 00:28, 4 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Nicholas Alonzi requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. →Στc. 00:28, 4 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

This is your Talk page where you can receive messages from other Wikipedians and discuss things with them. At the end of your messages you should always enter your signature by signing with four ~~~~ or by pressing the button in the editor shown here in the picture. By the way, it is not necessary to sign edits that you make in the articles themselves as those messages will be deleted. My name is Brendon. If you have any questions or face any initial hurdles, post {{helpme|your question}} on your talk page (this page), someone will quickly come up and attend to your query. And also, feel free to contact me on my talk page and I will do what I can to assist. Good Luck Editing!  Brendon ishere 09:44, 7 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Tips on your user page[edit]

First thing first,

Do you like your user-page?

If yes, then cool . Ignore the rest of the message.

"Show preview" button highlighted
"Save page" button highlighted

However, if you don't like it and want to make it look even better, then follow these steps (and in that case, I'm happy to help):

  1. Open your your user page.
  2. Click "edit this page"/"edit" (above) to edit the page
  3. Add - {{New user bar}} or {{New user bar|Image name of your choice}} above everything else in the content area of that page (whatever you write below and the Image, if any, will be shown under the section "About me").
  4. click "show preview" (below)
  5. Now, if you like it, click "save page" (below).

Oh and, read the rest if you need. Good luck..

In case you cannot find the buttons

Here are some codes that might help, the codes work on internet explorer and other browsers like Mozilla firefox, google chrome too. If they don't work try clicking "↵ Enter" after pressing the keys of code.

  1. "⇧ Shift+alt+e" - "Edit the page"
  2. "⇧ Shift+alt+p" - "Show Preview"
  3. "⇧ Shift+alt+s" - "save page"

Note:

  1. Mac OS X-users must hold control (in stead of ⇧ Shift+alt), and press the desired access key (e, p or s), I guess.
  2. If these keys don't work by themselves press ↵ Enter after them without changing the order, to initiate the intended process.

I hope this helps.  Brendon ishere 09:44, 7 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
