Yes, I am aware! I noticed this fact when I subscribed to the "Hank's 'You bet your life'!" blog (as he is a contributor there). While he and I likely share many heretical beliefs in regards to HIV and AIDS, we're completely at-odds when it comes to Islam and Jihad. Dean Esmay is an Islamic apologist, a dhimmi, if you will, and I have left a message for him on the aforementioned blog praising him for his skepticism of HIV/AIDS "science" and asking him to apply some of that same skepticism toward the religion of Islam. Nice to meet you - Am I wasting my time?

I saw your post in the scientific review section of AIDS denialism and recognized you as someone well-versed in the subject. I have been (unfortunately) candid about the fact that I am an AIDS dissident on the discussion page of AIDS denialism. I noticed that that entry now is now under the heading of Wikipedia: WikiProject Alternative Views, a project invoking Aristarchus' heliocentrism in its image! This project seems to be all about according at least a minimal amount of respect to significant alternative views. Am I crazy to think that denialism can be turned to dissident on Wiki? Or merely hopefully deluded by the overweening rhetoric on the project's Motivation section? Perhaps I took the wrong tone from time to time in the discussion section of the denialism page, but it does have a distinctly unfriendly atmosphere and I was reacting to that. I have evidence that The Guardian uses the word dissident more than any other term, including denialist or "dissident" in quotes or preceded by "so-called". This I posted on my own talk page. Is it a waste of my time to try and use an unbiased term that isn't an intentional pejorative ("denialist"), even in light of this WikiProject? Haytham2 (talk) 10:34, 4 March 2009 (UTC)
