- Did this change at some point? Honestly, I was mostly just copying what was already here when I started adding them in, but I do see there appears to only be one template page available: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Template:Rotten_Tomatoes . BTW that template page seems like it has some incorrect information, it suggests the template will link to "http://" not "https://". It does seem to link to https, which is what, as far as I know, is required according to Rotten Tomatoes licensing, but I thought I would point it out. Hello, LudaChrisKlein. Voting in the 2016 Arbitration Committee elections is open from Monday, 00:00, 21 November through Sunday, 23:59, 4 December to all unblocked users who have registered an account before Wednesday, 00:00, 28 October 2016 and have made at least 150 mainspace edits before Sunday, 00:00, 1 November 2016.
The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

Rotten Tomatoes, Box Office Mojo, Metacritic[edit]
It's great that you're adding these links to articles that don't already have them. However, please do not place them as External links in articles where they already appear in the References footnotes. It's redundant and violates WP:LINKFARM. - I did, and I certainly understand why this would be the case in many situations. Is there a way to link information to a link in the external links section instead? It seems to me that Rotten Tomatoes references are often invariably linked to the date and time of retrieval and thus somewhat distinct from the "external link" to the Rotten Tomatoes page instead. e.g. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Salt_(2010_film)#Critical_reception has the reference: "Review aggregation website Rotten Tomatoes gives the film a score of 62% based on 231 reviews, with a rating average of 6 out of 10. The site's critical consensus reads: "Angelina Jolie gives it her all in the title role, and her seasoned performance is almost enough to save Salt from its predictable and ludicrous plot."[53]" with a link to the rotten tomatoes link fetched in July 2010, and indeed the information is not current (there are 233 reviews, not 231). I also find it beneficial to have a true external link for something like Rotten Tomatoes so that it is more easily edited because they have had a tendency in the past six months to change whole swaths of links for some reason. Thanks for explaining (many do not) - many eds look at ext links being added to and simply grab the 'spam' welcome from twinkle, you have to be ready for that - probably a good edit summary can squash aspects of that - the other telltale warning of something not right is when ext links ared added into text outside of the ref brackets - that is not on per WP:MOS JarrahTree 10:36, 13 July 2017 (UTC)

AfroCine: Join the Months of African Cinema this October![edit]

After a successful first iteration of the “Months of African Cinema” last year, we are happy to announce that it will be happening again this year, starting from October 1! In the 2018 edition of the contest, about 600 Wikipedia articles were created in at least 8 languages. There were also contributions to Wikidata and Wikimedia commons, which brought the total number of wikimedia pages created during the contest to over 1,000.

Adding Rotten Tomatoes to external links[edit]
