Peer Review Comments[edit]

The last sentence of the lead paragraph is a little bit confusing: "The term sustainable urban drainage system[1][5] is not the accepted name,[by whom?] the 'Urban' reference having been removed so as to accommodate rural sustainable water management practices.[6][7]"

"The goal of all sustainable drainage systems is to use naturally occurring rainfall to recharge the water sources of a given site." "naturally occurring" is unnecessary and should be deleted.

"The paradigm of SuDS solutions should be that of a system that is easy to manage,..." This part of the sentence is confusing.

Reed beds should be described or should be a link to a wiki article on Reed Beds.

The fourth paragraph of the Background section writes SUDS, whereas the rest of the article writes SuDs. The way it is typed should be consistent throughout the entire article.

In the fourth paragraph of the Background section urban is typed in parentheses but I don't think they are necessary.

The last paragraph of the Background section says "Paving or building over land can result in flash flooding." This information was already stated earlier in the article.

Are there any Asian examples of SuDs that the article can discuss to make the examples more geographically diverse?

Overall the article is thorough and provides good examples. The article as a whole can be cleaned up to be more precise.Drewbarrie (talk) 21:24, 28 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
