Information icon Thank you for your contributions to Daylight saving time, but we are trying to write an encyclopedia here, so please keep your edits factual and neutral. Our readers are looking for serious articles and will not find joke edits amusing. Remember that Wikipedia is a widely used reference tool, so we have to take what we do here seriously. If you'd like to experiment with editing, use the sandbox instead. Switching to a named account does not make that edit any more acceptable. And calling it a minor edit does not help any more than the fake edit summary the first time did Meters (talk) 06:16, 30 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Moving articles and categories[edit]

Your perspective of the world might think in terms of 'Dog' over 'Canine' but hey there is a very large world out there, and not always are terms or phrases reduced to 'ships' 'dogs' - all the things when wikipedia started - it was all simple terms, but as the encyclopedia has developed there has been an attempt to improve the terms of articles and categories to make it more than just one syllable words...I am reverting myself as it seems there is a loops that has been created - have a look at WP:MOVE JarrahTree 06:36, 15 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@LukeyBear11: I reverted your edits at Canine terminology and Dog terminology because the WP:CWW policy requires that article history be preserved. In short, copy/paste moves are not permitted. Questions can be asked ask at WP:HELPDESK. As JarrahTree hints, it would be better to start a discussion at the article talk page about Dog... vs. Canine... titles.
