Time & Tide[edit]

It's the lack of credit on the Time & Tide page itself I'm concerned about. Also, the picture-only page now says I uploaded the image, which I don't think I did (or perhaps I did and it's one of the 'self-promotions' that got me banned from Wikipedia!). — Preceding unsigned comment added by 62.25.72.212 (talk) 15:26, 15 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I have removed the ambiguity in the image page description. As to attribution within the article itself I can find no examples of this in Wikipedia. Could you point to a Wikipedia entry which does as you suggest on the subject page rather than the image page.? Lumos3 (talk) 23:51, 15 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free media (File:Qwiki logo alpha.JPG)[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Qwiki logo alpha.JPG. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it backif you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Hazard-Bot(talk) 04:21, 30 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for the warm welcome[edit]

Non-free rationale for File:W Heath Robinson Book Cover.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:W Heath Robinson Book Cover.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under non-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page, and edit it to include a non-free rationale.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions, please ask them at theMedia copyright questions page. Files missing description details[edit]

Dear uploader: The media files you uploaded as:

are missing a description and/or other details on their image description pages. If possible, please add this information. This will help other editors make better use of the images, and they will be more informative to readers.

If the information is not provided, the images may eventually be proposed for deletion, a situation which is not desirable, and which can easily be avoided.

If you have any questions, please see Help:Image page. Thank you. Theo's Little Bot (error?) 01:03, 13 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
